Two People Stabbed at Shoreline Birthday Party

Two men in their 20s were injured early Sunday morning at a party in the 15500 block of Dayton Ave. N.

Two men were stabbed at a birthday party in Shoreline early Sunday morning, according to the King County Sheriff's Office.

Sgt. Cindi West said deputies responded to a home in the 15500 block of Dayton Ave. N at around 12:30 a.m. for a report of a stabbing. They found a 22-year-old Renton man with a stab wound to the abdomen inside the house.

A 20-year-old Seattle man was also stabbed and was driven to Harborview by friends before police arrived, West said. Both victims underwent surgery early Sunday morning; their conditions were not immediately available.

West said it's unclear what led up to the stabbing but that "there were numerous people at the house" for the birthday party and that some of the people there were reportedly not invited by residents.
