Two Men Seriously Injured in Accident in Hillwood Neighborhood Yesterday

Two men were seriously injured in an accident in Shoreline's Hillwood neighborhood yesterday afternoon.

About 4:10 p.m. a 2008 GMC Yukon went through a stop sign while traveling westbound on NW 200th  St. and hit a 1999 Ford Expedition going southbound on 3rd Ave. NW, according to Sgt. John Urquhart of the King County Sheriff's Office.

The driver of the Yukon (a 50 year-old Seattle man) and the driver of the Expedition (41 year-old Mountlake Terrace man) were both taken to Harborview in serious condition, Urquhart said.

The street was blocked off for several hours while the accident was being investigated by police.
