Two Heroin Overdoses, Ammunition Stolen From Parked Car: Shoreline Police Blotter
The following blotter items range from July 28 to Aug. 2. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.
July 28
BURGLARY: A residential burglary was reported in the 160 block of N 190th St. Forced entry to home's back door.
OVERDOSE: A transient person overdosed on heroin at Paramount Park Open Space, 946 NE 147th St.
July 29
CAR PROWL: Two vehicles were prowled in a driveway in the 100 block of NE Perkins Way. The owner was also victim to a car arson last year.
THEFT: A shoplifting suspect at Safeway, 15332 Aurora Ave. N, resisted being detained by loss prevention and kicked a patrol car window. The suspect allegedly attempted to steal various food and household items.
July 30
ASSAULT: A subject was arrested on suspicion of assault after he argued with a group of Latino men who were soliciting for work near FedEx in the Aurora Village Shopping Center, 1175 N. 205th St.
BURGLARY: A residential burglary was reported in the 15500 block of Dayton Ave. N.
July 31
THEFT: Ammunition was stolen from a vehicle parked at Rumble Fish Sushi, 20109 Aurora Ave. N.
Aug. 1
THEFT: A subject stole BluRay disks from Costco, 1175 N. 205th St., and fled in a vehicle.
OVERDOSE: A subject who had overdosed on heroin was found passed out in the bike lane near North 155th Street and Interlake. Transported to Northwest Hospital for treatment.
Aug. 2
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: A subject was injured climbing a fence at Shorecrest High School.
