UPDATE: Tree Downs Power Line in LFP on Bothell Way, Road Still Blocked

Most power was restored by noon, traffic headache continues

Detours still in effect for Bothell Way N.E. near N.E. 165th St. All lanes there still blocked while work continues on the power lines.

As of 12:30 p.m. most Lake Forest Park customers have power now but about 160 customers are still with without power. Those customers closest to the outage should be restored by 4 p.m.

All southbound and northbound lanes on Bothell Way N.E. at 165th St. are blocked and traffic is being rerouted. Southbound traffic on Bothell Way is being rerouted to Ballinger Way N.E. toward I-5 and vehicles are not allowed to turn right onto Bothell Way from Ballinger and forced to turn left onto Bothell Way toward Kenmore. Lake Forest Park police estimate that it will by about 5 or 5:30 p.m. before the road is open.

A tree fell on power lines on Bothell Way N.E. near N.E. 165th St. in Lake Forest Park last night, causing 920 customers to lose power.

Seattle City Light expects to restore power by 11 a..m.

The broke an insulator on a power pole, which must be replaced.

Traffic is currently blocked in the southbound lanes on State Route 522 and is being rerouted around.

Lake Forest Park Police advise people to go take I-5 to get around the area to get to Lake City rather than driving south on Bothell Way.
