Suspect Confronts Man, Displays Handgun
The following blotter items range from November 16, 2012 – November 19, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.
On Saturday, November 17th an unknown suspect confronted a victim in the parking lot of All Pet Vet Clinic (1222 NE 145th Street) and demanded the victim get out of a truck. The suspect displayed a semi-automatic black handgun and walked off.

AUTO THEFT: Unknown suspect(s) stole a motor vehicle from the 15200 block of 8th Ave NE.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, NON-FORCED ENTRY: Unknown culprit(s) climbed over a fence at The Shoreline School District Bus Barn, 1216 NE 165th Street. Sometime overnight, culprit(s) prowled two full sized school buses that were parked. The culprit(s) took a fire extinguisher and flashlight.

LARCENY at SHOREWOOD HIGH SCHOOL: Someone stole a tenor saxophone from the band room at 17300 Fremont Ave North.
November 17
OBSTRUCTING AN OFFICER: An officer contacted suspicious people outside of a closed business, Aurora Vision Center at 14926 Aurora Ave N. A male suspect ran after he was told he was under arrest for a warrant. The suspect was booked for an unrelated warrant out of Auburn.
LARCENY at FRED MEYER: An employee parked and locked his bike to a bike rack at 18325 Aurora Avenue North. A suspect cut the cable lock and stole the bike. There is video surveillance of the area and security will follow-up to see if the suspect can be identified.
VEHICLE RECOVERY: A suspect possessed a stolen motor vehicle nearby the intersection of North 145th Street and Fremont Avenue.
November 18
MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A person who was on narcotics in the 17400 block of 3rd Ave NE was walking on a public roadway. Due to mental health concerns, the person was involuntary committed for his/her safety.
HIGHLY INTOXICATED: A man was found to be very drunk at a Shoreline bus stop in the 16000 block of Aurora Ave North. The man blew a .323 on the PBT. Some would refer to such a blood alcohol level as “alcohol poisoning.”
DUI, ACCIDENT: A drunken person caused an accident that left a car in a ditch in the 20000 block of 6th Ave NE.
DINE & DASH: A larceny happened at the Denny’s (904 N 155th Street) when six men finished their $69.88 (without tip) meal and left without paying.
November 19
FAMILY DISTURBANCE: A disturbance happened between two people in a dating relationship in the 800 block of NE 170th Street.
