Son Goes to Jail After Vandalizing Dad's House

The following blotter items range from November 21, 2012 – November 22, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

 

On Wednesday, November 21, an argument erupted between a father and son in the 18600 block of Corliss Ave North close to 11:00pm.  The son punched two large holes in doors at his dad’s home and was booked into Snohomish County Jail.

TRESPASS at CLUB HOLLYWOOD:  A customer caused a disturbance at Club Hollywood Casino (16716 Aurora Ave North) and refused to leave.  This person was trespassed around 2:15am.

AUTO THEFT:  A car was stolen from the street in front of a house in the 18300 block of 9th Ave NE.

MENTAL COMPLAINTS:  A woman was found nearby First Lutheran Church (18354 – 8th Ave NW) close to 6:30am.  She was lost, possibly drunk and suffered from Lyme disease. 

TWO LARCENIES at BALLINGER COMMONS: 

  1. A man in the 20100 block of Bagley Place North reported that culprit(s) broke into his car via passenger window and took items. This was called in at roughly 9:35am.
  2. At 10:00am, a passenger window of another car in the same block was broken.  Unknown property was taken from this vehicle.

LARCENY:  A victim was unloading groceries from his/her car parked in the driveway in the 18000 block of 1st Ave NW when he/she discovered suspect(s) were stealing items from the same vehicle that was being unloaded.

LOST PROPERTY:  A person who was at The McDonald’s (20227 Ballinger Way) reported a lost purse from a restroom.  Inside the purse were rings and a passport.  “More than likely, the purse was taken from the restroom.”

VANDALISM at RIDGECREST PARK:  A suspect used yellow, pink and white spray paint to tag a city park with the following: “CREEPS, JUICE, SDCSUNDAY CREW, BAYS AND SUNDAY."  This happened in the 1000 block of NE 161st Street at approximately 10:15pm.

MORE VANDALISM:  This time it was Twin Ponds Park  (15401-1st Ave NE) that was the unfortunate recipient of tagging by suspect(s) who used blue, yellow, white paint pens, black markers and purple t-shirt paint to tag: “BERD, HAS, DONE, REMA, DBP, DCIBE, BTP, THRASH, SAVAL and UP.” Most of the tags read: BERD.  The time was close to 11:20pm.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE VIOLATION:  A suspicious man was loitering near the bathroom of Paramount School (15300 – 8th Ave NE) around midnight.  The man was found with outstanding warrants and cocaine in his pockets.  He was booked into King County Jail.

November 22

LARCENY:  A victim in the 18300 block of 15th Place NE left his/her two cars unlocked in the driveway of the home.  Thieves opened the door and took items sometime during the night.

VANDALISM:  A victim in the 1900 block of North 195th Street parked her car in the driveway of her home.  In the darkness of night, a suspect used a BB gun to shoot a small hole in the rear window of her SUV.

LARCENY at BOEING CREEK PARK:  More than one car was broken into by culprit(s) who used a crow bar to break windows and steal items that were left in plain view at 17216 – 3rd Ave NW.  The cars that were parked on the side of the road and broken into were a Volvo XC70 and a Toyota Camry.

DUI:  A man was arrested for drunken driving in the 17100 block of Carlyle Hall Avenue.  Jim’s Northgate Towing impounded the suspect's vehicle.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON:  A person was in the parking lot of Cash America at 20305 Aurora Ave North close to 5:40pm.  The person was screaming profanities and has a history of causing disturbances with Shoreline PD.

ATTEMPTED SUICIDE:  A man in the xxxxx block (actual block numbers crossed out on purpose by Shoreline PD) of North 192nd Street took pills in an attempt to harm him self.  This happened at his house close to 8:40pm.
