The Shoreline owners of  a North Seattle business that police say served as a front for prostitution were arrested Monday.

The owners, a 42 year old woman and a 37 year old man, were arrested and booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of promoting prostitution.  The investigation is ongoing.

The Seattle Police Vice and High Risk Victims Unit detectives received information that a business in the 9500 block of Aurora Avenue North was being used as a front for prostitution.

Detectives and members of the North Precinct Anti-Crime Team seized cash as they served warrants on the business and the owner's residence in Shoreline.

Detectives began an undercover operation which confirmed the illegal activity.  During the course of that investigation, detectives established that the business owners had knowledge of the prostitution.
