Shoreline Police Blotter: Teenager Leads Police on Pursuit Before Crashing
The following blotter items from Dec. 4- Dec. 10 and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.
DEC 4
CHILD RAPE: A child was sexually assaulted in their home. The suspect may have entered through an unsecured front door.
VANDALISM: Someone set fire to a garbage can, and its contents, at Shorecrest High School.

INDECENT MESSAGES: Unwanted and sometimes indecent text messages were sent to a 13-year-old’s cell phone.

PUBLIC DISTURBANCE: A man, who was under the influence of drugs, was spilling items and causing a disturbance inside of a Starbucks on N 205th St.
MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A man cut himself, on the forearm, out of frustration with his mother.
DEC 6
BURGLARY: Someone entered the rear door of Fancy Hair Salon, through unknown means, and stole financial documents.
BURGLARY: Someone entered a home in the 400 block of N.E. 155th St., through an unlocked window, and stole a video game console and laptop computer.
MENTAL COMPLAINTS: An intoxicated and suicidal man, at KFC, was transported to Northwest Hospital.
DEC 7
SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Someone called the police to report that someone was banging on the their motel room window, at the Rodeway Inn.
LARCENY: A chainsaw was stolen from a car parked at the Meadowbrook Apartments.
FAMILY DISTURBANCE: A couple was involved in a dispute, in which they were loudly arguing and breaking Christmas ornaments in front of their children.
DEC 8
OBSTRUCTION: Someone reported a suspicious person, standing in their front yard. When police arrived the man attempted to flee, hopping a fence. He was booked with misdemeanor warrants.
LARCENY: An electric bicycle was stolen from the carport of a home in the 19500 block of Fremont Ave. N.
CRIMINAL WARRANT: A woman, who was stopped for speeding in the 19900 block of 15th Ave. N.E., had a suspended license and a misdemeanor warrant.
DEC 9
CRIMINAL WARRANTS: A man was approached by police, behind the Rodeway Inn on Aurora Ave. N., and arrested with two outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE: A 16-year-old led police officers on two pursuits before crashing his vehicle, in the 18400 block of Aurora Ave. N. He was in possession of Oxycodone.
OVERDOSE: Someone overdosed on heroin in a home on Lake Forest Park Dr.
DEC 10
LARCENY: A man was pick-pocketed at the Days Inn on Aurora Ave. N.
LARCENY: Someone broke out a window of a vehicle, parked at the Shoreline Senior Center, and stole a purse that was inside.
VANDALISM: The tags “JOKR” and “MACE” were spray painted on road signs, on Richmond Beach Rd.
