Shoreline Police Blotter: Rash of DUIs Committed Last Week

The following blotter items range from June 6, 2012 – June 9, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

JUNE 6

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: A man, pulled over on a traffic stop, was found with marijuana, a pipe and no insurance.

ABANDONED VEHICLE: A boat and trailer were abandoned on the shoulder of the road in the 18200 block of 8th Avenue N.E.

LARCENY: A woman discovered that someone had stolen a forged checks in her name, after noticing a discrepancy of a couple hundred dollars in her checking account.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: A mother complained when her daughter, a junior at Shorewood High School, was inappropriately touched by another student.

JUNE 7

DUI: Three people, pulled over separately, were found with BACs over .15, nearly twice the legal limit, in Shoreline.

LARCENY: A man, with an outstanding warrant, walked out of Top Foods with a armload of food without paying.

BURLGARY: An Xbox and Asus laptop were stolen from a home in 19500 block of Wallingford Avenue.

JUNE 8

DUI: A man, dropping off a female behind the Rodeway Inn on Aurora Avenue N., was stopped after being pulled over on the side of the road facing the wrong direction. He was ticketed for DUI.

BURGLARY ATTEMPT: Unknown suspects attempted to break into the vacuum machines, at Brown Bear Car Wash, to steal the coins.

FRAUD: A woman discovered over $9000 worth of unauthorized charges on her Key Bank account. The charges were made online.

LARCENY: A man was caught attempting to steal a bottle of Jack Daniels from Safeway.

JUNE 9

DUI: Someone, with an outstanding warrant, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, after crashing their vehicle in three parked cars.

OVERDOSE: Someone overdosed on heroin in the morning, in a basement in the 14700 block of 8th Avenue N., using a spoon and a syringe. They were revived by medics using a dose of Naloxone.

PROWLER: An unknown suspect broke the lock on the door, of a vehicle parked in the Fred Meyer parking lot, using a screwdriver.
