Shoreline Police Blotter: Man Fondles Himself in Front of Bikini Barista

The following blotter items from March 30, 2012 - April 7, 2012 and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

March 30

DINE AND DASH: Two guys ordered food at Denny’s, 904 N. 155th St., and ran out of restaurant after eating and did not pay their bill. They were both white men in their 20s. One had a medium build and wore a dark baseball cap, blue shirt and jeans. The other wore a white shirt and jeans.

GAS SWIPED: Someone stole fuel from a vehicle in the 16500 block of 18th Ave. N.E.

April 1

BURGLARY: Someone entered a home in the 16500 block of Ashworth Ave. N. through a rear sliding door and took a purse from a kitchen counter.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: A male suspect was asked to leave the Chevron at 20330 15th Ave. N.E. after making threats to customers and trying to get the staff to fight him. He was trespassed and booked for disorderly conduct.

April 2

ASSAULT: A victim’s partner bit her in the arm before fleeing the Northridge Apartments in the 1500 block of N.E. 177th St.

VANDALISM: The door lock on a vehicle was removed from a car parked near King’s Schools on Fremont Ave.

VANDALISM: Someone tore fencing down at a dam rentention pond at N.W. 171st St. and Carlyle.

April 3

RAPE: The victim was reportedly sexually assaulted by the boyfriend of the victim’s cousin in the 18300 block of 1st Ave. N.E.

CHECK FORGERY: Someone passed a forged check and driver’s license at Big 5 Sporting Goods at 1133 N. 205th St.

INDECENT EXPOSURE: A barista at Baristas, 16300 Aurora Ave. N., reported that a man masturbated in front of her at the coffee stand.

April 4

RAPE: The victim reported a man punched her in the head and face and forced her to have sex with him against her will at the Rodeway Inn Motel, 14817 Aurora Ave. N.

SEX OFFENSE: A caregiver at a competing adult care home went to Ambitions of Washington, 549 N.W. 205th St., and had sex with a developmentally disabled woman with the mental capacity of a 15 or 16 year-old.

TOY REVOLVER AT HIGH SCHOOL: Someone brought a toy revolver with a laser to Shorecrest High School to give back to someone and was shining the laser in the hallway and was spotted by security.

BURGLARY: Suspect(s) broke a back door and stole jewelry and computers from a residence in the 2400 block of N.W. 196th St.

SHOPFLIFT: A female suspect was detained at Sears, 15711 Aurora Ave. N., was provided a false identity to police after being caught with $1,127.48 worth of items.

MUFFLER THEFT: Suspect(s) stole mufflers from O’Reilly Auto Parts, 18021 Aurora Ave. N.

April 5

iPAD MISSING: A student at Shorewood left class to take a break and later during fifth period noticed his iPad was missing.

iPAD STOLEN: Someone took an iPad out of the victim’s backpack while he was inside the Shorewood library.

April 6

MARIJUANA: Two people were in the women’s restroom at Hillwood Park after hours when a strong odor of marijuana was recognized. A man claimed ownership of 2.4 grams of weed and was booked on a driving while license suspended warrant and cited for marijuana and paraphernalia possession.

BURGLARY: Suspect(s) entered a home in the 1400 block of N. 145th St. through an unlocked rear door and stole jewelry and a computer.

SHORECREST BURGLARIZED: Someone broke into a construction trailer overnight at Shorecrest High School through a main door.

VEHICLE PROWL: Suspect(s) broke into a vehicle by popping the lock and took items in the 16500 block of Wallingford Ave. N. The victim was on his way to the airport and didn’t have time to wait for officer contact. He was willing to assist in prosecution.

PURSE SNATCH: Someone stole a purse from a shopping cart at the Richmond Beach QFC, 600 Richmond Beach Road, while the victim was distracted. A possible suspect was captured on surveillance footage.

BURGLARY: Suspect(s) forced their way into an apartment at the Meadowbrook Apartments in the 1400 block of N.W. Richmond Beach Road, and took an XBOX and computer.

WALLET TAKEN: Someone stole the victim’s wallet while she was in Yoga class at Yoga Bliss, 15823 Westminster Way.

BURGLARY:  Someone pried a window open and took cash from a residence in the 16700 block Corliss Ave. N.

DRUNK ON MALT LIQUOR: Someone was found laying in the fetal position on the sidewalk at a bus stop in the 15900 block of Aurora Ave. N. after consuming an unknown amount of malt liquor. The person was taken to Northwest Hospital.

April 7

VEHICLE PROWL: Someone overnight broke the passenger side window of a vehicle and stole items in the 16600 block of Stone Ave. N.

HIT AND RUN: A driver backed into a cement garbage can and destroyed it before fleeing at McDonald’s, 15201 Aurora Ave. N.

VANDALISM: Someone tagged RBC on a bench and made some illegible tags in the bathroom at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park, 2021 N.W. 190th St.
