Shoreline Police Blotter: Man Exposes Himself to Baristas at Java Jolt

The following blotter items from Dec. 11 - Dec. 17 and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

DEC 11

LARCENY: Someone, most likely an employee, stole petty cash from the administrative office of a private school.

MAIL THEFT: Mail was stolen out of a mailbox in the 1200 block of N.E. 152nd St. The suspect altered a check, that was made out to the victim, and cashed it.

VANDALISM: Someone turned on the fire department water hose, in an apartment building in the 17700 block of 15th Ave. N.E., causing damage to four floors worth of carpets.

DEC 12

LARCENY: Money was stolen from the till, at Pagliacci Pizza, during business hours.

INDECENT EXPOSURE: A man exposed himself to the baristas at Java Jolt, after receiving his purchase, on multiple occasions.

LIQUOR VIOLATIONS: Four people, who were all underage, were driving in a vehicle with 24 beers. Three of people, including the driver, had all consumed alcohol.

DEC 13

DRUNKENESS: Three intoxicated men were involved in a physical and verbal dispute.

BURGLARY: A Playstation 3 was stolen, from a duplex in the 2300 block of N. 187 St., and activated online.

LARCENY: An unknown man opened the register, at Kaya Asian BBQ restaurant, using a key that was left out and stole money.

DEC 14

RAPE: Someone entered a home, in the 18000 block of 4th Ave. N.W., and sexually assaulted a minor.

DUI: A driver, involved in a two-car collision at Bartell Drugs, was arrested for driving while under the influence. They have six prior DUI convictions.

DEC 15

DISTURBANCE: A woman took her grandmother’s van after getting into an argument with her mother about not being able to find their drug dealer at a motel.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Overnight, an unknown suspect used a large rock to try to smash the window of a Valero gas station.

MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A man, who was off of his medication, made suicidal statements and threw items through a window and broke the fence, of a home in the 16700 block of 10th Ave. N.E.

ASSAULT: A man called the police to report that his wife grabbed his hair, slammed him against a wall, and kicked him repeatedly, during a physical altercation.

DEC 16

LIQUOR VIOLATIONS: A minor was arrested for exhibiting the effects of alcohol consumption, after a public altercation with her mother.

LARCENY: Someone stole over $250 worth of items from Sears.

DEC 17

LARCENY: A man grabbed beer, from a Chevron on Aurora Ave. N., and ran out of the store, into a vehicle, without paying.

ABANDONED VEHICLE: An abandoned vehicle was found, blocking the roadway in the 1100 block of N. 152nd St.

DUI: A man was arrested for driving with a BAC of .136, in the 16000 block of 15th Ave. N.E.
