Shoreline Police Blotter: Intoxicated Teen Crashes Car Into Neighbor's Fence
The following blotter items from Jan. 2 – Jan. 8 and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.
JAN 2
MENTAL COMPLAINTS: Police were contacted about a suicidal woman at the Rodeway Inn.
AUTO THEFT: A car was stolen from the driveway of a home, in the 1800 block of N.W. 205th St.

BURGLARY: Someone entered a home, in the 17800 block of 1st Ave. N.E., and stole a camera and laptop.
VANDALISM: “MANIAK” was tagged on a wall, along with a painting of a jester, at Shoreline Park.

JAN 3
ASSAULT: A boyfriend and girlfriend, who are roommates, were involved in a physical altercation in their apartment.
SUICIDE ATTEMPT: A man attempted suicide by cutting his throat with a knife. He was transported to the hospital for treatment and a mental evaluation.
JAN 4
ASSAULT: Someone spit in woman’s face and attempted to strangle her, in her home in the 1100 block of N.E. 150th Ct.
DRUNKENNESS: A woman, who was extremely intoxicated in a Shari’s restaurant, was transported to the hospital after complaining of extreme abdominal pains.
FRAUD: A man reported that he found $373.73 worth fraudulent charges on his credit card, from Hot Topic.
JAN 5
MENTAL COMPLAINTS: Police approached a female, walking in the middle of the road, who claimed that an unknown male was physically torturing her and the FBI was aware of it.
LARCENY: $6000 was stolen from a purse that was inside of a home, in the 20300 block of 80th Ave. N.E.
ROBBERY: Someone was punched in the ribs and robbed in the South Woods of Shorecrest High School.
JAN 6
CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Marijuana was found inside a vehicle that was stuck in the mud, in James Keough Park.
FRAUD: In December, someone wrote numerous checks, from a closed account, to the Ridgecrest Elementary School PTA.
SUICIDE ATTEMPT: A woman, who attempted suicide by cutting her wrist with a knife, was transported to Northwest Hospital for an involuntary stay.
TRESPASS: Someone was arrested for criminal trespassing at the Rodeway Inn on Aurora Ave. N.
JAN 7
MISCHIEF: Two males were seen lighting fireworks on a residential street in Shoreline.
THREATS: Someone, suffering from bipolar disorder, threatened to kill his mother in her sleep.
JAN 8
DUI: A 19-year-old, who was under the influence of alcohol, crashed their car into their neighbor’s fence.
LARCEY: Someone broke the windows of two vehicles that were parked at the Evergreen Baptist Church. Various items were stolen from the vehicles.
