Shoreline Police Blotter: Heroin Overdose at Rodeway Inn

The following blotter items from Nov. 27- Dec. 3 and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

NOV 27

ACCIDENT: The occupants of a vehicle, involved in a single car accident in the 16500 block of 27th Ave. N.E., fled the scene of the accident.

VANDALISM: Someone, described as an Asian female driving an orange Honda Fit SW, keyed a vehicle, parked in the Costco parking lot, belonging to a couple that she had been involved in a verbal dispute with.

LARCENY: Someone broke the lock of a vehicle, parked at Shoreline Community College, and stole a Glock 19, serial number FKE057US.

BURGLARY: A home in the 16500 block of 18th Ave. N.E. was broken into. A laptop and jewelry were stolen.

NOV 28

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: A woman was caught smoking heroin in her car.

LARCENY: A student at Shorewood High School was expelled for stealing an iPad from a classmate.

LARCENY: A man, who was attempting to steal items from Top Foods, fled southbound on Aurora Ave. N., when an employee confronted him.

NOV 29

LARCENY: A homeless man grabbed a 12-pack of beer, from a display at Safeway, and left the store without paying.

VANDALISM: Someone used pink spray paint to tag the fence of a private residence, in the 200 block of N. 153rd Pl.

BURGLARY ATTEMPT: Someone pried the screen off a window of a home, in the 15400 block of 15th Ave. N.E. The window was open enough to let the cats, that were inside of the home, out but no entry appears to have been made.

NOV 30

EMBEZZLEMENT: A woman apparently embezzled money from her mother’s bank accounts.

BURGLARY: A unknown suspect forced their way into a home on Firlands Way N, by breaking the lock and the door jamb. They entered the upstairs bedroom and stole a jewelry box and briefcase full of papers.

TRESPASS: A man was attempting to locate a prostitute, in a room at the Rodeway Inn.

WELFARE STATUS: A lost and confused elderly female was found, with no identification, near the Echo Lake Apartments.

DEC 1

VEHICLE RECOVERY: A man, driving a stolen vehicle in the 16700 block of 15th Ave. N.E., was arrested.

LARCENY: Three iPads were stolen at Shorewood High School. Shorewood has experienced a rash of iPad thefts.

THREATS: A previous assault suspect made death threats to a person over the phone.

DEC 2

OVERDOSE: Someone overdosed on heroin in a room at the Rodeway Inn.

FORGERY: Personal checks were forged at Home Depot.

BURGLARY: The door of a home, in the 14800 block of Interlake Ave. N., was kicked in and jewelry was stolen from the residence.

DEC 3

ASSAULT: A woman stabbed her husband with a pair of small scissors during a physical altercation.

LARCENY: Two young white males ate at Denny’s Restaurant and left without attempting to pay.

BURGLARY: Someone broke into a home, in the 15200 block of Densmore Ave N., and stole jewelry, DVDs and a purse.
