Shoreline Police Blotter: Guy Shoplifts Dre Beats Headphones from Radio Shack

The following blotter items range from July 12, 2012 – July 19, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

July 12

MICROPHONES STOLEN: Someone stole microphones and an amp from Seattle Grace Presbyterian, 616 N.E. 165th St.

PURSE STOLEN: Someone stole a purse after breaking a rear door window of vehicle in the parking lot of Ballinger Commons, 20100 block of Bagley Dr. N.

July 15

FIGHTING BROTHERS: Police were called to a family disturbance in the 14700 block of 20th Ave. N.E. after brothers got into a fistfight over computer usage.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Someone tried to force his or her way into a house in the 1100 block of N.E. 165th St. using a sledgehammer.

DRUNKENNESS: A person was found passed out at the Shoreline Community College bus stop and was sent to detox and formally trespassed.

July 16

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Someone threw a rock through a glass window of the main door at McDonald’s, 15201 Aurora Ave. N., and stole change from a charity box near the register.

VANDALISM: Someone used silver-blue spray paint to paint evil faces and an “8” with crosses on a fence and asphalt at St. Luke’s School, 322 N. 175th St.

BURGLARY: Someone broke the glass of a rear slider door and did a quick search of three drawers inside a house in the 15500 block of 32nd Ave. N.E. before an alarm was activated.

July 17

LIQUOR SHOPLIFTED: Two individuals took liquor and placed it in a backpack at QFC, 600 N.W. Richmond Beach Road, and left without paying.

MARIJUANA: An officer found occupants of a vehicle parked in the 14900 block of Linden Ave. N. smelling strongly of fresh burnt marijuana.

July 18

INDECENT EXPOSURE: A guy was stopped in the 17500 block of Aurora Ave. N. after he reportedly was driving around with his penis exposed.

LARCENY: A female victim left her locked vehicle in the parking lot at Twin Ponds Park, 14900 1st Ave. N.E. and upon returning she discovered the passenger side rear window had been smashed out and items had been taken from inside the vehicle.

HEADPHONES SHOPLIFTED: A guy shoplifted Dre Beats headphones from Radio Shack, 1235 N. 205th St.

July 19

LIQUOR/TOBACCO VIOLATIONS: Police discovered a group of friends singing songs and drinking alcohol in the Paramount Greenbelt, 14701 12th Ave. N.E. after hours. One person was too drunk to act respectful and was cited for minor in possession.

VODKA SHOPLIFTED: Safeway loss prevention employees, at the store at 15332 Aurora Ave. N., observed a guy select two bottles of vodka from the liquor section and put them in a white plastic shopping bag.

BURGLARY: Someone smashed a rear door window of a house in the 17000 block of 2nd Ave. N.W. and took property.

MOUNTAIN BIKE STOLEN: Someone stole a mountain bike from the backyard of a group home in the 16700 block of Park Ave. N.

VANDALISM: Someone keyed multiple vehicles in the 100 block of N. 175th St.

CRIMINAL WARRANT: A guy was found passed out on cars outside TKO Kickboxing, 15901 Westminster Way. He was found to have misdemeanor warrant and was booked into the King County Jail.
