Shoreline Police Blotter: Gang Graffiti Found at Football Field Bleachers at Shoreline Center

The following blotter items from Feb. 26-March 4 and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

February 26

ASSAULT: A woman in the 15200 block of Greenwood Ave. called 911 to report a domestic violence incident in which her boyfriend pulled her hair and caused her arm to have bruising and swelling. She refused to say who did it or give her address.

CAR PROWL: Someone smashed the rear windows of two vehicles in the 14800 block of 12th Ave. N.E.

STOLEN CRAB LEGS: Someone tried to steal crab legs from Costco by hiding them in clothing. The person was previously arrested for theft in Bellevue.

February 27

HIT AND RUN: Somone ran their car into a retaining wall and left the scene in the 20000 Sixth Ave. N.E.

DEMENTIA PATIENT WITH WEAPONS: An elderly dementia patient had stainless steel knuckles with spikes attached at the Anderson Plaza, 17201 15th Ave. N.E.

PERSON WITH WEAPON: A man left his home in the 1200 block of N.E. 188th St. when he saw person in the suspect vehicle hold up a semi-automatic gun said, "Hey mother****er, I got something for you."

BURGLARY: Someone entered an unlocked house in the 3000 block of N.E. 149th St. with a young person sleeping inside and took computers from an upstairs attic.

VANDALISM: A DUI suspect stopped in the 17600 block of Linden Ave. N. got combative and broke out the window of a police car.

Februrary 28

BURGLARY: An unknown suspect forced entry into a home in the 500 block of N. 170th Court and stole a laptop and iPod.

CRIMINAL WARRANT: A suspect was arrested near the Rodeway Inn, in the 14800 block of Whitman Ave., a high crime area known for narcotics, prostitution and burglaries, according to police.

February 29

PERSON WITH WEAPON: A guy was cited for trespassing on the Shorewood campus because he had a knife.

VANDALISM: An unknown suspect threw a rock and broke a window at Ronald Wastewater Management, 17505 Linden Ave. N. Several employees were in the office at the time but nobody saw who threw the rock.

MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A person at the Meadowbrook Apartments who is mentally retarded, has mood disorders and Autism, got upset and punched his care provider on the forehead.Β 

March 1

VANDALISM: Gang graffiti found on the bleachers at the football practice field at Shoreline Center read "BROWN PRIDE LOCO, SOLO, MANIAK, LOST and SLOPE." One was non-gang affiliated MIJIT and one was unknown, STS.

RECKLESS DRIVER FLEES POLICE: A driver in a suspicious vehicle fled from police twice near N. 185th and Meridian Ave. N.

VANDALISM: Eggs were thrown at a house in the 2300 block of N. 187th St. and the lawn damaged.

March 2

VANDALISM: Someone was walking around drunk in the 15200 block of Densmore Ave. N. wearing a flak jacket, hitting things with baseball bat. The person was arrested and booked for investigation of malicious mischief.

AUTO THEFT: A Honda CRV was stolen from a parking lot in the 19800 block of 25th Ave. N.E.Β 

VANDALISM: Someone broke the rear window of a teacher's car at Shorewood High School.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT: Someone attempted suicide by pills and alcohol in the 18200 block of Ridgefield Road.

March 3

TRESPASS: A man was hiking on the Landover Woods Public Trail south of N. 145th St. when he got into an argument with his wife and started hiking alone through the woods. He went north and entered the Highlands property mistakenly.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT: A guy took pills in an unsuccessful suicide attempt in the 15500 block of Meridian Ave. N. He was transported to Northwest Hospital.

March 4

FRAUD: A man in the 8000 block of N. 145th St. found an unauthorized charge for a $303 US Airways airline ticket.
