Shoreline Police Blotter: Female Uses Counterfeit Bills to Purchase Mattress

SEPT 18
VANDALISM: An unknown suspect smashed two windows at a Walgreens on Aurora Ave. N.
CRIMINAL WARRANT: A driver, stopped for expired tabs on N.E. 155th St and 15 Ave. N.E., had misdemeanor warrants and was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

SEPT 19
FORGED PRESCRIPTION: A man was arrested after attempting to obtain legend drugs, from a Rite Aid on Ballinger Way N., with a forged prescription.

ACCIDENT: A traffic collision, in the parking lot of a Fred Meyer on Aurora Ave. N., resulted in a physical altercation.
SEPT 20
LARCENY: A cell phone was stolen from a locked vehicle through a partially open window, in the 20000 block of Aurora Ave. N.
LARCENY: A white, 6 foot, 180 pound, male with short blonde hair, stole electronics from a Sears on Aurora Ave. N.
SEPT 21
ARSON: An unknown suspect lit a mailbox on fire and vandalized three others in the 16000 block of Linden Ave. N.
LARCENY: Someone, who was caught stealing food from a Safeway on Aurora Ave. N., was arrested with misdemeanor warrants.
ASSAULT: A man punched his woman in the stomach at their apartment in the 15000 block of Stone Ln. N. The couple had a long history of unreported domestic violence.
SEPT 22
LARCENY: Someone pried the door of a safe open, at a home in the 1600 block of 175th St., while the owner was in the hospital.
FRAUD: A female person used counterfeit bills to purchase a Simmons Beauty Rest mattress from Savvy Mattress.
SEPT 23
FALSE REPORT: A man was charged with filing a false statement when he tried to report his vehicle stolen, after abandoning it during a traffic stop.
UNDERAGE DRINKING: Teenagers were caught drinking after the Shorewood-Shorecrest football game at Shoreline Stadium.
MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A verbal domestic dispute, at Top Foods on N 175th St., resulted in a woman being pushed out of a car. She was then involuntarily committed for a mental health examination after threatening to harm herself.
SEPT 24
CRIMINAL WARRANT: A man was arrested at 7-11 with an outstanding felony warrant for robbery.
LARCENY: Someone stole an iPhone from a house party in the 300 block of N.E. Serpentine Pl.
