Acts of vandalism, theft and drug use

The following blotter items were selected from Shoreline Police reports from Feb. 28 to March 7, 2011:

 Feb. 28

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: An employee at the Shoreline School District bus barn at Ridgecrest School, 16510 10th Ave. N.E., returned to find the rear passenger window of her vehicle smashed out and items taken.

 MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A male person threatened to come to Shoreline City Hall and shoot himself in the head.

 DRUG OVERDOSE: Someone overdosed on heroin while in the bathroom at McDonald’s at 20227 Ballinger Way N.E. The person was transported to Stevens Hospital via Medic One.

 LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: A female person parked in the Park and Ride in the 14700 block of 5th Ave. N.E. found a note on her vehicle from an anonymous witness advising her that a male person stole a part from under her vehicle around 2:30 p.m.

 

March 1

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: A group of four or five young black male persons entered the Drift on Inn Casino, at 16708 Aurora Ave. N.  and caused a disturbance. Two of them attempted to take a bottle of liquor but dropped it on the way out.

 AUTO THEFT: A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot in the 14500 block of Stone Ave. N.

 THREATS: Several employees of Global Seas, 20308 Dayton Ave. N. reported receiving threatening e-mails in their main corporate e-mail account.

 AUTO THEFT: A Honda Civic was stolen from the 17500 block of St. Luke's Place N.

 LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: Someone stole items form Bethel Lutheran Church, in the 17400 block of Eighth Ave. N.E.

 LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: Someone cut the cable lock and stole a bicycle from a carport in the 20000 block of 15th Ave. N.E.

 LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: Someone smashed the front passenger window of a vehicle in the parking lot of McDonald’s at 20227 Ballinger Way N.E.  while the owner was inside for five minutes.

 LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: Someone smashed the rear window of vehicle parked in front of 24-Hour Fitness, 20202 Ballinger Way N.E., and took a purse.

 AUTO THEFT: Someone stole a 1995 Honda Civic with a trumpet inside from the Shoreline Community College parking lot.

 LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: Someone stole a ‘spa gun’ merchandise-tagging device from Fred Meyer, 18325 Aurora Ave. N.

 LARCENY, MORE THAN $250: Someone stole a catalytic converter off a vehicle parked in the lot at Home Depot, 1335 N. 205th St.

 

March 2

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Someone broke a window at North City Food Mart, 18005 15th Ave. N.E., in what appeared to be an attempted commercial burglary.

 VEHICLE PROWL: Someone broke out the rear passenger window of a vehicle parked at the Shoreline Library while the owner was inside using a computer.

 MARIJUANA: A driver stopped for an illegal turn in the 19500 block of Ballinger Way was found to have marijuana and a glass-smoking pipe.

 

March 3

 VANDALISM: Someone slashed the tire on a vehicle in the 2100 block of N. 160th St.

 TRESPASS: A male person riding his bike between cars and throughout the parking lot at Aurora Village on N. 205th St. was give a no trespass order.

 VANDALISM: Someone placed 50 nails over the victim’s driveway in the 1800 block of N. 203rd St.

 VEHICLE PROWL: Someone tried to enter a vehicle in the Meadowbrook Apartments, in the 1400 block of N.W. Richmond Beach Drive by damaging the lock.

 BURGLARY: Someone entered a home in the 600 block of N. 182nd St. through a sliding glass door and stole items.

 CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: A crack pipe was found in the parking lot of the Shoreline District Courthouse, 18050 Meridian Ave. N.

VANDALISM: The owner’s vehicle was damaged while she was in Starbucks at 606 N. Richmond Beach Road.

LARCENY, LESS THAN $250: Someone stole an item from the victim’s wallet which was in her purse on the front passenger seat of her vehicle parked at St. Luke Parish, 322 N. 175th St.
