The following blotter items were selected from Shoreline Police reports from Feb. 14-19, 2011.

 Feb. 14

 LARCENY: Someone cut the padlock off a storage cage at Walgreen’s, 17524 Aurora Ave. N. and took propane bottles.

 MAIL THEFT: Someone stole mail from the 19000 block of Corliss Ave. N and then committed fraud.

 LARCENY: A condominium owner in the 20000 block of 15th Ave. N.E. allowed someone to sleep at his residence and the person stole $300 in cash, coins and keys.

 HIGHWAY ROBBERY: On Valentine’s Day a man was robbed at knifepoint in the parking lot of Kentucky Fried Chicken on Aurora Ave. N. while meeting a prostitute he had patronized last summer.

 LARCENY: A male person was working out at the YMCA, 19290 Aurora Ave. N. and placed his wallet into an unlocked gym locker and when he returned the wallet was gone.

 VANDALISM: Black spray painted graffiti was found on a fence in the 300 block of N.E. 151st St.

 

 Feb. 15

 LARCENY: Someone pickpocketed a wallet at the Drift On Inn Casino, 16708 Aurora Ave. N.

 MARIJUANA: Three girls were caught smoking marijuana in one of the girls’ bathrooms at Einstein Middle School, 19343 Third Ave. N.W.

 AUTO THEFT: A woman reported that her black 2007 Jeep parked in the parking garage underneath her apartment at the Echo Lake Apartments at 19200 Aurora Ave. N. was stolen.

 LARCENY: A computer vanished from a fourth period class at Shorecrest High School.

BURGLARY: A renter of a basement room in the 16000 block of Greenwood Ave. N.  said someone entered his room at stole a Playstation.

 THREATS: Someone yelled at a woman at Safeway, 15332 Aurora Ave. N. and threatened to assault her.

 

Feb. 16

 AUTO THEFT:  Someone stole a vehicle from the McDonald’s parking lot at 20227 Ballinger Way N. and used the victim’s debit card to withdraw $2,900 from a Seattle ATM.

 LARCENY: Someone broke the passenger side window of a locked vehicle parked at the Arabella Apartments in the 17700 block of 15th Ave. N.E. and removed the CD player from the dash.

 BURGLARY: Suspects broke an exterior window at the Pepper Hill Center in the 14700 block of Aurora Ave. N. and may have made an entry.

 FORGED PRESCRIPTIONS: Someone attempted to forge a prescription at the Walgreen’s at 14510 Aurora Ave. N.

 

Feb. 17

 LARCENY: Someone entered vehicles in the 18000 block of Ninth Ave. N.E. and stole various items.

 SHOPLIFTING : Two individuals shoplifted items from Central Market, 15505 Westminster Way.

 LARCENY: A woman parked at the Richmond Beach Library, 19601 21st Ave. N.W., discovered that her vehicle window was broken and her purse was missing from inside.

 ASSAULT: A male person claimed he was called names on a Metro bus at N. 155th St. and Aurora Ave. N. by a black male and white female and then physically attacked by them when he confronted them.

 

Feb. 18

 AUTO THEFT: Someone stole a white 1996 Honda Civic from the Linden II Apartments in the 14500 block of Stone Ave. N.

 THREATS: A former employee at Star India, 14725 Aurora Ave. N. came back to the restaurant and demanded his job back or more money for the work he already did and made verbal threats when he was told no.

SHOPLIFTING: A suspect who attempted to conceal items and leave Home Depot at 1335 N. 205th St. without paying was arrested after being caught and fighting with the loss prevention employees.

 LARCENY: A woman pretended she was helping an elderly person at the Blakely Apartments 1100 N. 192nd St. when she was taking the person’s money for herself.

 AUTO THEFT: A suspect stole a car from Ballinger Commons in the 19800 block of Bagley Drive N.

 

Feb. 19

 SUSPICIOUS CIRUMSTANCES: Someone reported hearing nine shots fired near N. 175th St. and Ashworth Ave. and left a shell casing for police. The man declined to identify himself or have contact with the officer.

 SUSPICIOUS CIRUMSTANCES: A woman in the 100 block of N. 193rd Street reported that she saw a suspicious white Nissan Sentra parked down the street from her home during the early morning hours occupied by a dark skinned man. As it turns out he is a newspaper delivery person.

 FRAUD: Debit card numbers were stolen to  use an online purchase from someone in the 1400 block of N.W. Richmond Beach Road.
