Assault, burglary, shoplifting and car prowls

The following blotter items were selected from Shoreline Police reports from Feb. 10-13:

 Feb. 10

 ASSAULT: The principal at Echo Lake Elementary School called police to report a suspected assault of a student by three other individuals at Ballinger Commons Apartments, 19600 Sunnyside Drive N., where those involved live.

 SHOPLIFTING: A suspect stole steaks from Top Foods at 1201 N. 175th St.

 BURGLARY: Someone used bolt cutters to cut off a lock and break into B&D Sheet Metal, 16715 Aurora Ave. N.

 Feb. 11

 BURGLARY: Someone entered a house through an unlocked door in the 15500 block of Corliss Ave. N. and stole a laptop.

 LARCENY: Someone stole a necklace from a home in the 1000 block of N.E. 198th St. It was possibly pawned by the suspect.

 Feb. 12

 ASSAULT: A boyfriend and girlfriend who live together in the 2600 block of 195th St. got in a physical fight. The girlfriend was booked for assault, fourth degree domestic violence.

 VEHICLE PROWL: Someone opened an unlocked door of a blue Chevy Silverado parked in the 17300 block of 1st Ave. N.W. and stole a laptop and passport.

 LARCENY: Someone stole hubcaps from a classic Chevy pick-up in the 1200 block of N.E. 184th St.

 VANDALISM: Someone threw a large rock into the rear window of a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 1600 block of N.E. 190th St. The incident was captured on video but the suspect’s face was blocked.

 VANDALISM: Someone egged the Porsche of a man living in the 19700 block of 26th Ave. N.W. that resulted in chipped paint on the roof. The man told police he would have to repaint the whole car at a cost of $4,000.

 VEHICLE PROWL: Someone smashed the rear driver’s side window of a car parked in front of the Alive Juice Bar, 20206 Ballinger Way N., and took items.

 Feb. 13

 STALKING: A person in the 15100 block of Stone Lane reported that he had been receiving calls at odd times of the day and night on a shared cell phone.
