Shoreline Police Blotter: Drunk Man Attempts to Have Sexual Contact With His Boss' Wife

The following blotter items from Feb. 12 – Feb. 18 and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

February 12

SEX OFFENSE: A drunk man walked into the bedroom of his employer in the 19800 block of Dayton Ave. N. and attempted to have sexual contact with his employer's wife who was asleep. 

LARCENY: An employee at Taco Bell, 15010 Aurora Ave. N. told the night shift manager that he was fed up with working there and walked off the job. Later that night $31.62 was found missing from one of the cash registers.

MENTAL COMPLAINTS: Someone in the 1100 block of N. 200th St. who lives in the Villager Apartments drank alcohol for three straight days and made a threat to harm himself.

February 13

VANDALISM: Someone tagged the word ROGUE on a picnic table at Hillwood Park in the 1900 block of 3rd Ave. N.W. It was photographed and cleaned off.

VANDALISM: Someone spray painted JOKR and AKSY in red and white spray paint and black marker on signs and a guardrail at the intersection of N.W. 176th St. and 3rd Ave. N.W.

ATTEMPTED SUICIDE: A suicidal male person cut his wrist and ran off into the woods with a rope in the 1700 block of N.E. 146th St. saying he was going to hang himself.

AUTO THEFT: A couple living in the 17200 block of 11th Ave. N.E. reported that when they woke up their Sorrento was gone and their other vehicle had been prowled.

BURGLARY: Someone took jewelry from the 500 block of N. 170th Place but left everything else as it was. The victim suspects a family member did it.

February 14

VANDALISM: Someone vandalized a new car at Carter Subaru, 17225 Aurora Ave. N.

ASSAULT: Someone spit at and punched another person at Shoreline Community College.

BURGLARY: Unknown suspects forced their way into a home in the 1880 block of Firlands Way N. through the front door and stole jewelry and computer.

BURGLARY: A suspect forced his way into a home in the 15400 block of 15th Ave. N.E. and stole a machete.

February 15

FRAUD: Someone in the 15100 block of 1st Ave. N.E. was suspeced of elder finanical abuse after stolen checks were found.

ASSAULT: A fight at Shorewood High School started when someone asked for $20 that they had loaned out to another person.

ATTEMPTED SUICIDE: A student at Shorecrest High School said she was feeling suicideal and took 300 mg. of Prozac and an unknown quantity of Cetirizine that she had been prescribed.

ASSAULT: A boy grabbed a girl by the threat and pushed her at Echo Lake Elementary School. 

VANDALISM: A Shoreline resident walking her dog in Paramount Park noticed a male person tagging the skate park with graffiti. When she confronted him he quickly left. 

PIMPING: The Shoreline Police assisted the FBI with a commercial sex abuse of a minor case at the Shoreline Motel at 16526 Aurora Ave N. 

February 16

LARCENY: Someone took two iPods from locked cars in the Shorewood High School lot that were visible in the front seats.

BURGLARY: A woman in the 17400 block of Ashworth Ave. N. who lives in the Gardens Condos noticed her jewelry missing. She later discovered a couple boxes had been removed from her storage unit downstairs.

IDENTITY THEFT: A driver's license was taken from a mailbox in the 210 block of N.E. 177th St. and used by suspect to pawn stolen items.

VANDALISM: New RBC and KHAOS tags were found at Richmond Beach Community Park and the library.

BURGLARY; A man in the 1400 block of Phinney Ave. N. left to go to the gas station for five minutes and found his TV missing when he came back. 

Feb. 17

BURGLARY: The North City Lounge, 17554 15th Ave. N.E., was burglarized overnight and coins, currency, cigarettes were taken after the back window was broken out and the front door was pried open. 

EMBEZZLEMENT: An employee at O'Reilly Auto Parts, 20319 Ballinger Way N., stole about $160 from the business over the course of two months.

BURGLARY: Someone took jewelry from a home in the 18000 block of Stone Ave. N. after a kitchen windown was likely left unlocked.

Feb. 18

HIGHWAY ROBBERY: A man said he was chased by two unknown males from Seattle to Shoreline around the 16500 block of Aurora Ave. N. and after they caught him threw him to the ground and stole $145.

MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A man tried to kill himself near Denny's, 904 N. 155th St., by walking in traffic and said he would again if not sent to the hospital.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: A driver was arrested for DUI at 175th St. and Aurora Ave. N. and had 1.7 grams in his pocket. 

THREATS: A person in the 15700 block of Greenwood Ave. threatened officers with a hatched and made verbal threats to kill them with a gun.
