Shoreline Police Blotter: Dead Body Found at Days Inn

The following blotter items from Oct. 3- Oct. 9 and information on arrests were supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

OCT 3

WEAPON POSSESSION: A student at Einstein Middle School was suspended after bringing a butterfly knife to school.

BANK ROBBERY: An unknown suspect entered the Key Bank, on Aurora Ave. N., with a shotgun and demanded money from a teller. The suspect then took the money and fled.

LARCENY: Credit cards were stolen from a vehicle, at a Bikram Yoga facility in the 20000 block of Aurora Ave. N.,

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: A male student was caught with a bong and marijuana in the South Woods at Shorecrest High School.

FRAUD: A known suspect stole checks from an elderly victim and forged their signature.

OCT 5

PROSTITUTION: A prostitute was loitering in front of a CarPlus in the 14000 block of Aurora Ave. N.

DEATH: A dead body was found, at a Days Inn on Aurora Ave. N., by the motel’s property manager.

LARCENY: A purse, containing approximately $15,000 worth of jewelry, was stolen from an apartment complex in the 1000 block of N. 192nd St.

LARCENY: A 6’0” tall, 20 to 25 year old, white male with a thin build was seen running out of an Office Max, in the 1300 block of N. 205th St., with a shopping cart full of supplies.

OCT 6

LARCENY: A backpack and its contents, including a social security card, were stolen out of an open athletic locker at Shoreline Community College.

OVERDOSE: A 15-year-old student was transported to Northwest Hospital after being found passed out, under the influence of an unknown substance, on the field of Kellogg Middle School.

DUI: Someone was arrested after driving their car backwards in a Central Market parking lot and crashing into several cars before hitting a large pillar. The driver was under the influence of alcohol and pain medication.

OCT 7

INDECENT PHONECALLS: The manager of an apartment building, in the 20000 block of 15th Ave. N.E., has received several inappropriate phone calls and messages, on her business phone, from an unknown male.

BURGLARY: A house, in the 19900 block of Forest Park Dr., was burglarized.

OCT 8

DUI: A drunk driver crashed into a parked vehicle in the 15900 block of Greenwood Ave. N.

ASSAULT: A man was arrested after punching his wife and breaking her arm.

OCT 9

BURGLARY: A man was spotted by police walking out of the broken glass door, of a business in the 1200 block of N.E. 175th St., with a mask, hoodie and gloves on.

MARIJUANA: Three males, on foot in a McDonalds drive-thru, were in possession of marijuana.
