The following blotter items were selected from Shoreline Police reports from April 24 to May 2.

April 24

DUI: A driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Northbound I-5 near the 175th Street exit.

April 25

SEX TOY LARCENY: Someone reportedly stole vibrators and sex pills from Taboo Video on Aurora after opening a new account.

STALKING/HARRASSMENT: Police recieved a report of suspect on NW 175th Street violating an anti-harrassment order by making posts on the Internet.

April 26

ILLEGAL PROPERTY: Police confiscated a King County Sheriff’s shoulder badge from a suspect when his vehicle was stopped going southbound on I-5 near the 175th Street exit. The driver had no insurance.

MARIJUANA POSSESSION: Police cited a driver and passenger with a misdemeanor marijuana charge after pulling over the vehicle for spinning the vehicle’s tires around a corner on the 14700 block of Whitman Avenue N.

April 27

SUICIDE CHECK AND ARREST: Police were dispatched to check on a man who made suicidal comments. The man had misdemeanor and felony warrants and was taken into custody.

ASSAULT BY HEAD BUTT: Police responded to a report of a man assaulting his daughter by “head butting” her in the forehead. Police found no signs of injury and filed no charges at the time.

April 28

VANDALISM: Someone deflated the air from all four tires of a vehicle in a parking lot of Ballinger Creek Condominiums.

FRAUD: A man in his 30s or 40s used a fake Washington State Driver’s license with another man’s name on it to open a credit card account at Sears. The man also presented a social security card that matched the name of the license.

LARCENY: A suspect stole cash from a desk in the back office of the Ballinger Chevron while another person kept watch.

April 29

LARCENY: A woman reported that an unknown person had broken into her car on the 19700 block of 15th Avenue NE. The suspect damaged the CD player and stole her registration and a bottle of suntan lotion.

LARCENY: A suspect was arrested at Safeway at 15332 Aurora for shoplifting.

MENTAL COMPLAINTS: Police responded to a report from the fire district about a man wandering through traffic and throwing garbage at drivers on 185th Street.

 April 30

LARCENY: Someone stole a hubcap from a vehicle on N 150th Street. It was the second time this had happened that week.

LARCENY: Two males stole an XBOX from a victim who was on a public roadway at N 178th Street and Dayton Avenue and then fled.

VEHICLE VANDALISM: Police responded to a report of sugar poured into the gas tank of a vehicle on NE 150th Street.

May 1

LARCENY:  A “very pregnant” woman is suspected of stealing clothing from Fred Meyer on Aurora. The woman fled in her vehicle.

LARCENY: Someone broke the window of a woman’s car at Twin Ponds Park, stole the contents of her purse and dumped the empty bag several blocks away. The woman had been away from the car for about an hour.

LARCENY: A man reported his iPhone stolen after falling asleep on King County Metro route 358.

May 2

REVOKED LICENSE: A man was arrested for driving with a revoked license on the 2300 block of N 175th Street.
