Sex and Drugs Being Traded in Abandoned Parking Lot

On August 31, police observed suspicious circumstances when an abandoned parking lot in the 19000 block of 10th Ave NE was being used for sex, drug activities and more.

AUGUST 29

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY:  Someone broke a window of a vacant home in the 16200 block of 5th Ave NE.  The person was found squatting in the vacant home.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY:  Someone stole cash from the Pastor’s office at Peace Lutheran Church, 14514 – 20th Ave NE.

SUICIDE ATTEMPT:  A female in the 1400 block of NE 154th cut her left forearm many times with a kitchen knife.  The female also made threats to harm her mother and sister.

LARCENY:  Someone stole a package from the front porch of a home in 400 block of N 156th Court. 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY:  A man in the 17300 block of 2nd Ave NW reported that someone entered his home and stole items.

AUGUST 30

PEOPLE PROBLEMS:  There was a disagreement between two parties at Hamlin Park (16000 – 15th Ave NE).  There was a problem with the dogs being off leash that led to a verbal argument and allegations of assault.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY:  Someone in the 19600 block of Sunnyside Dr N was robbed by gunpoint by another person in an apartment parking lot.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY:  Someone robbed a victim of a hat and bike in the 19800 block of 25th Ave NE.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY AT CLUB HOLLYWOOD CASINO:  Someone tried to rob someone else with a semi-automatic handgun at 16718 Aurora Ave North.

AUGUST 31

ATTEMPTED SUICIDE:  A person in the 900 block of N 198th Street confessed to using scissors to puncture left wrist.

LARCENY AT SHORELINE STADIUM:  Two Motorola radios were stolen from the press box at 18560 – 1st Ave NE.

ASSAULT:  Someone assaulted a victim in Cromwell Park.  This happened in the 18000 block of Meridian Ave.

BURGLARY:  Someone stole items from a home in the 1700 block of NE 150th Street.

D.U.I. RELATED ACCIDENT:  A drunken person drove his/her car into a fence in the 14700 block of 32nd Ave NE.

SEPTEMBER 1

INDECENT PHONE CALLS:  Someone called The Lover’s Package at 20019 Aurora Ave N. to make obscene comments.

STOLE LICENSE PLATES:  A man reported to police that someone stole his motorcycle license plate.  This happened at 19953 Ballinger Way N.

ATTEMPTED COMMERCIAL BURGLARY:  Someone who was at The Northwest Church attempted to break into the church.  This happened in the 15500 block of 15th Ave NE.
