Shoreline Police Blotter: Seven More iPads Reported Stolen At Shorewood

The following blotter items range from May 18, 2012 - May 23, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

May 18

TRESPASS: Police cleared squatters from a house in the 1500 block of N.E. 190th St.

MARIJUANA: A male person matching the description of a person running from a stolen vehicle near the intersection of 175th St. and Dayton Ave. N. was patted down and found to have a small amount of marijuana and a pipe on his person along with a bong in his backpack.

INDECENT PHONE CALLS: A female person in the 1500 block of N.E. 150th St. said she received five obscene phone calls three evenings in a row from a blocked phone number. The voice on the phone sounded like it was altered by some type of electronic device.

BURGLARY: Someone in the 2300 block of N. 190th reported a burglary and theft of items suspected by a wayward nephew.

DEATH INVESTIGATION: A 39-year-old man died in the 19900 block of 19th Ave. N.E. from an apparent heart attack while being treated by aid workers.

SHOPLIFTING: Someone stole two glass smoking pipes from the 99 Cent Store, 19904 Aurora Ave. N.

FUEL STOLEN: Someone stole fuel from a vehicle parked at N.E. 175th St. and 10th Ave. N.E. after removing a non-locking gas cap.

DUI: A driver in the 182nd St. and Aurora Ave. N. was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana and was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

May 22

ASSAULT: Someone pushed a female victim cuasing her to fall in the 800 block of N. 153rd Place.

DRUNKENNESS: A drunk male person was found passed out on a Metro bus route 584 at Shoreline Community College.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY: A woman withdrew $200 cash from the Bank of America ATM, 19223 Firlands Way N., on the west side of the bank beside the front entrance when a white male about 17 or 18 years old approached her attempted to rob her as she was walking back to her car.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A homeowner interrupted a burglary in progress at a home in the block of N.E. 177th St. The suspect broke glass on French doors near the living room and reached in to unlock the doors and proceeded to search drawers and a desk.

MARIJUANA: Police found five guys in car that smelled of marijuana on cul-de-sac in the 500 block of N.E. 182nd Court. One of them willingly took the rap.

STALKING HARRASSMENT: Someone was harrassing juveniles at Echo Lake Elementary School, possibly with threats to kill.

May 23

MENTAL COMPLAINTS: A neighbor in the 15800 block of 10th Ave. N.E. noticed a developmentally disabled female person standing on a porch. She was wandering the street in the rain with no pants or underwear. She may have left a group home.

STOLEN MEDS: A woman invited two white female solicitors into her home and one asked to use the bathroom while there and it wasn't until after they left she realized that medication had been stolen. 

MORE iPADS STOLEN AT SHOREWOOD: Seven more iPads were reported stolen at Shorewood High School. 

CAR PROWL: Someone opened the locked door of a sliver 2000 Toyota Avalon parked in the 300 block of N.W. 205th St. with stolen keys. The vehicle registration, insurance card and banking papers were stolen from the glove box.

HIGHWAY ROBBERY: A suspect pushed a victim up against the wall in a walkway at Kellogg Middle School and took his wallet and iPod. The iPod was later found discarded.
