Shoreline Block Watches Report 29 Residential Burglaries in September

Shoreline Block Watches reported more residential burglaries in September 2012 compared to August 2012, as well as increase from September 2011

Shoreline Block Watches reported more residential burglaries in September 2012 compared to August 2012, as well as increase from September 2011.

Shoreline Block Watches reported 29 burglaries, 21 forced entry burglaries and eight non-forced entry burglaries last month. Block Watches also reported two attempted burglaries to Shoreline Police.

In August 2012, 22 burglaries were reported, 13 forced entry and nine non-forced entry burglaries.

Last year, in September 2011, 10 forced entry burgaries, and nine non-forced entry burglaries were reported.

  • 18500 block of 8th Ave. N.E., 8 a.m., Door pried open. 

Sept. 3

  • 2200 block of N.E. 169th St., between 9 a.m. and 11:30 p.m., broke small window removed frame.

Sept. 4

  • 1400 block of N. 200th St., between 4:30 and 5 a.m., unsecured garage door.
  • 2300 block of N.E. 165th St., between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., entered through secured bedroom window.

Sept. 6

  • 15300 block of Stone Ave. N., 11:50 a.m., unsecured window
  • 15200 block of Greenwood Ave. N., between Aug. 26 and 8 p.m. Sept. 6, kicked in door.

Sept. 8

  • 17800 block of Meridian Ave. N., between Aug. 24 and noon on Sept. 8, door forced open.

Sept. 10

  • 16100 block of Midvale Ave. N., between 9:40 and 10:10 a.m., unsecured door.
  • 16300 block of Ashworth Ave. N., between 10:15 a.m. and 2 p.m., unsecured window.

  • 300 block of N.E. 167th St., bewteen 12:15 and 12:30 p.m., Unknown.

Sept. 13

  • 100 block of N.E. 145th St., between 8:30 a.m. Sept. 10 and 8:48 a.m. Sept. 13, missing lockbox.
  • 15300 block of 27th Ave. N.E., between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., door kicked in.

Sept. 17

  • 15000 block of 12th Ave. N.E., between 6 a.m. Sept. 7 and 7:20 a.m. Sept. 17, entry made possibly with a key.

Sept. 20

  • 19600 block of 20th Ave. N.E., between 8 p.m. Sept. 20 and 12:42 a.m. Sept. 21, door kicked in.
  • 1200 block of N.E. 152nd St., 9:43 p.m., unknown.

Sept. 23

  • 2200 block of N.E. 177th St., between 9 a.m. and noon Sept. 24, door kicked in.

Sept. 24

  • 1600 block of N 183rd St. This happened at approximately 12:40p.m. when a door was kicked. An arrest was made.
  • 17500 block of 7th Ave NE, bewtween 11:20 a.m. and 6:20p.m., door kicked in.

Sept. 25

  • 700 block of N 161st Place, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00p.m., door forced open.

Sept. 26

  • 18700 block of 2nd Ave NW, between 10:00a.m. and 7:00p.m., window broken.

Sept. 30

  • 1500 block of NE Perkins Way, between 6:20a.m. and 3:20p.m., French doors, glass broken.

  • 18200 block of Fremont Ave N.  This incident was discovered on 9/21/2012 at 2:30p.m. The method of entry is unknown.

July 9

  • 14500 block of Whitman Ave N.  Incident discovered on 9/7/2012 at 12:00p.m., unsecured door.

Aug. 22

  • 300 block of NW Richmond Beach Road.  Incident discovered on 9/2/2012 at 12:00p.m., unsecured window.

Sept. 1

  • 900 block of N 196th Court, between 3:30a.m. and 5:55a.m., entered residence unlawfully.

Sept. 12

  • 16000 block of 25th Ave NE, incident discovered on 9/13/2012, happened between 5:30p.m. and 7:00a.m. the next day, method of entry is unknown.

Sept. 13

  • 14500 block of Phinney Ave N, incident discovered on 9/14/2012, happened 8:00p.m. and 9:00a.m. the next day. Entered through open, sliding window.

Sept. 16

  • 20200 block of 20th Ave NW, between 9:00a.m. and 3:30pm, unsecured doors

Sept. 17

  • 400 block of N 156th Place, between 1:00pm and 9:30a.m. the next day, unsecured slider door

Sept. 16

  • 300 block of North 155th St., incident discovered on 9/17/2012, happened 11:00p.m. and 8:30a.m. the next day.  A slider screen was damaged in the failed attempt.
