Shoreline Block Watches Report 22 Residential Burglaries in August

Shoreline Block Watches reported slightly fewer residential burglaries in August 2012 from July 2012 and August 2011.

Shoreline Block Watches reported 22 burglaries, 13 forced entry burglaries and nine non-forced entry burglaries last month. Block Watches also reported three attempted burglaries to Shoreline Police.

Of those July 2012 reports, 17 were forced entry, nine were non-forced entry and there were six attempted burglaries.  

Last year, in August 2011, Shoreline Block Watches reported 14 forced entry burgaries, 11 non-forced entry burglaries and three attempted burglaries.
