Shoreline Police Report 20 Residential Burglaries in November

Residential burglaries up slightly from October but are down significantly from the same month the previous year

Shoreline Police reported a slight increase in residential burglaries in November 2012 compared to October 2012, but also reported a 39 percent decrease from the same month the previous year, Nov. 2011.

Shoreline Police reported 20 residential burglaries, 14 forced entry burglaries and six non-forced entry burglaries last month. Police also reported one attempted burglary in Shoreline.

By contrast, 16 residential burglaries were reported in October, 12 forced entry and four non-forced entry. 

Last year, in the same month, Nov. 2011, 33 burglaries were reported including 24 forced entry burglaries and nine non-forced entry burglaries.

•16700 block of 8th Ave. N.E., between 7:00 a.m. and 4:20 p.m., door kicked in.

•700 block of N. 190th St., between 4 p.m. and 5:50 p.m., window removed.

•18400 block of Corliss Ave. N., between 6:50 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., possibly entered by window.
