Seattle Police Detectives Asking for Help in Solving Hit-and-Run

Shoreline cyclist died from his injuries sustained June 28 near Dexter Avenue North

The Seattle Police Department's Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) detectives continue to actively investigate a fatality hit and run vehicle/bicycle collision that killed Shoreline resident Mike Wang at approximately 3:44 p.m. June 28 near Dexter Avenue North and North Thomas Street.

Wang was biking home to Shoreline from his job at global health nonprofit PATH in downtown Seattle when he was struck. 

The suspect vehicle has yet to be located.  Detectives are looking for a mid-1990′s to mid-2000 beige to brown colored American-made SUV, possibly with tinted windows and a silver luggage rack.  There may be slight or moderate front end damage or no visible damage at all.

TCIS detectives are looking for any information related to this incident as well as witnesses who have not yet spoken to police.
