Report: One Of Cafe Racer Shooting Victims Was Shorecrest Grad
Audio of 911 calls released; man at Cafe Racer heroically tried to stop Stawicki by throwing stools at him as shots were fired
The Seattle Times is reporting that one of the victims of yesterday's shooting was 57-year-old Donald Largen, a graduate of Shorecrest High School and the University of Washington.
Largen, an urban planner who played the saxophone, was one of the four people killed in a Wednesday morning attack by a gunman Ian Stawicki, his mother Betty Parker told the paper.
"He was a very loving, kindhearted man," Parker told the Times, Thursday.

Stawicki, who fled after the cafe killings, later killed a fifth victim near Town Hall in Seattle before kneeling on the ground and shooting himself in the head as police closed in West Seattle Wednesday afternoon, according to the Times.
Largen's organs are being donated to help other people live, Parker said.

A man named Lawrence who was at Cafe Racer threw stools at Stawicki which allowed several people to escape the massacre, according to Seattle Police.
The Seattle Police Department has also released audio of the 911 call from Cafe Racer, audio of the 911 call from Eighth and Seneca , where a woman was killed hear Town Hall and the police radio chatter from West Seattle.
