Police Blotter: Woman Hears Glass Break in Her House, Scares Suspect Off

April 19
TRESPASSING: A man smelling of alcohol trespassed near Budget Batteries on the 15000 block of Bothell Way NE. Officer filled out a criminal trespassing warning, and he told police officer he was getting his cigarette butts. Police officer advised him not to do that and the subject left the premises.

April 20
SOLICITING: In the 1900 block of Lake Forest Park Drive NE, a man was going door-to-door soliciting carpet cleaning service. He was driving a white van. The subject who made the report found the van parked haphazardly in the street. He confronted the man and he left.

April 21
BREAK-IN: In the 3200 block of NE 185th Street, a woman suspected someone was in her house. She didn’t see anyone, but heard glass break. There were not any suspicious vehicles near the property. She reports she felt safe in house, just upset. She thought she scared the trespasser off when she came in. The back door was kicked in and some tools were left behind.
April 22
DOG ATTACK: In the 16000 block of 35th Avenue, dogs came onto a man’s property and pinned him against his house. The dog’s owners are not known. The subject was uninjured.
April 24
BREAK-IN: In the 19000 block of 35th Avenue, a woman called from her home concerning her mother in law, whol lived at a home for the elderly. She noticed a possible attempt of a break in. A screen was taken off the window, and the window was partially open. There was no suspect. However, there was just some moved furniture and the possibility of the screen being bumped off the window by accident during the move.
April 24
STRAY DOG: At Forest Park Drive NE and Ballinger Way, a large brown dog was spotted in in the middle of traffic.
