37th Ave. N.E. closed south of 205th St. N.E. and north of 35th Ave. N.E. and 40th Place N.E.

Lyon Creek spilled out onto 37th Ave. N.E. in Lake Forest Park Monday afternoon closing the road after 2:15 p.m.
The part of 37th Ave. N.E. that is closed is south of 205th Ave. N.E. at the Mountlake Terrace-Lake Forest Park border and north of 35th Ave. N.E. and 40th Place N.E.

LFP Police and Public Works put cones out to stop all but local traffic from getting through. The rain had stopped about 2:30 p.m. but it may be a few hours before the road reopens.
