Man Says Neighbor's Chickens Damaging His Grass

The following blotter items range from November 12, 2012 – November 18, 2012. Information on arrests is supplied by the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

 

On November 16th, a man in the 4900 block of N.E. 184th St. contacted police about his neighbor’s chickens who are entering his property and damaging his grass. An officer advised him to call animal control first then city code enforcement.

CAR AND BOAT PROWLS: Thieves stole several old credit cards and an old driver’s license from an SUV parked in the marina near the 17200 block of Beach Drive N.E.

•A resident on a boat in the marina heard the thieves on opening the canvas of her boat and called out and the thieves dropped a TV.

 •The thieves also stole a pair of gloves and old Samsung phone from a woman’s unlocked silver Acura.

November 13

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Someone damaged an Audi convertible parked in the 17400 block of Beach Drive N.E. by cutting the top starting near the front windshield and ending over the rear window. The estimated damage to repair or replace the top is $1,500 to $2,000.

November 14

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Someone took items from inside a gated area at the Johnson Company in the 15000 block of Bothell Way N.E., returned them, and then took a table saw.

November 15

LOUD TRUMPET: At 1:30 a.m. a neighbor reported hearing a loud trumpet playing since 10:30 p.m. the previous night. An extremely drunk man was warned for a noise violation.

November 17

TREE ON POWER LINE: Someone called police reporting hearing an explosion near the 4600 block of N.E. 187th Place. A tree was found down on a power line halfway down from the watershed.  Seattle City Light was advised of the problem.

November 18 

HAZARD: A tree fell down across N.E. 184th St. near the 17800 block of 47th Ave. N.E. The power went out as well. Seattle City Light was advised of situation.
