Man Robbed, Pistol-Whipped in Carport: Shoreline Police Blotter

The following blotter items range from Aug. 3 to Aug. 9. Information on arrests is supplied by the Shoreline Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 3

BURGLARY: A residence in the 19900 block of Linden Ave. N was burglarized. The thief/thieves crawled through an open window to gain access.

Aug. 4

AUTO THEFT: A 2003 Ford Taurus was stolen while parked in the 16200 block of 9th Ave. NE.

DRUNKENNESS: An intoxicated male wet himself and passed out in an auditorium at the Landmark Crest Theater, 16500 5th Ave. NE. 

Aug. 5

AUTO THEFT: A Subaru was stolen from the Viking Bar, 14622 15th Ave. NE, and later recovered at Carkeek Park in Seattle.

BURGLARY: A mountain bike was stolen from a shed in the 16300 block of Stone Ave. N. Thief/thieves forced open a locked door to gain access.

BURGLARY: A residential burglary was reported in the 14500 block of Interlake Ave. N. TV stolen and rear door kicked in.

Aug. 6

BURGLARY: Police responded to a commercial burglary at Sears. Unknown thief/thieves broke a glass door with a rock overnight and stole jewelry. Suspect(s) left behind car keys and vehicle. 

ROBBERY: A known suspect robbed a man at gunpoint in a carport in the 250 block of NW 195th Place. Victim was also pistol-whipped.

VANDALISM: A juvenile was arrested after lighting a picnic table on fire at Twin Ponds Park, 15401 1st Ave. NE.

Aug. 7

VANDALISM: Two school buses were damaged at a fenced lot adjacent to Ridgecrest Elementary School, 1216 NE 165th St. Suspect(s) used broken tiles from an art installation to smash the buses.

Aug. 8

THEFT: Suspect(s) smashed window to steal cigarettes and tools from vehicle parked at Shay's Restaurant, 15744 Aurora Ave. N.

Aug. 9

BURGLARY: Police responded to a residential burglary in the 1400 block of NW 188th St. Suspect(s) entered home through open garage while occupants were asleep inside.
