Donald Garrant Was Man Fatally Shot in Shoreline, Last Week

Garrant, 45, died of gunshot wound to the chest, Sept. 27

Donald Garrant, 45, is the man who died after being shot in Shoreline last Thursday, Sept. 27 in the 1600 block of 145th St., according to the King County Medical Examiner.

The cause of death for Garrant was a gunshot wound to the chest.

Neighbors reported an argument to police at 11:54 a.m., and several shots were fired while police were en route. Garrant was found dead and a woman and man were taken into custody, but later released pending more investigation by police.

Garrant came over to the house at 145th and Densmore in the late morning hours of Sept. 27 to apparently discuss a matter with the two individuals.

Two women live at the house, Shoreline Police Chief Shawn Ledford said. 

King County Sheriff's detectives are doing a thorough investigation, Ledford said, but no arrests have been made at this time.
