LFP Police Blotter: Woman Involuntarily Committed For Violent Outburst

The following blotter items and information from Feb 6 through Feb 12 were selected from the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

 

February 6

THEFT: Someone broke into a Chevy Malibu, in the 3500 block of N.E. 16th St., and stole photographic developing equipment.

THEFT: Four people were seen stealing coins out of the laundry machines at the Ballinger Estates. The machines were damaged.

THEFT: A man, who was out of town for three weeks, returned home to find missing items. When he confronted his housesitter, she admitted that her friend stole the items and pawned them. She said she would attempt to retrieve the stolen items.

February 7

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: A woman called the police to report that her boyfriend wouldn't let her leave her house. When the police arrived they determined that no assault had taken place and the woman left.

PEDDLING: Two females in their late-20's were peddling magazine subscriptions, in the 4600 block of N.E. 203rd Ct. They said they had permits but refused to show them.

February 8

PEDDLING: Someone reported that a man came to his house, attempting to sell him stuff. When he asked the man to leave, the man claimed that the only reason he didn't want to buy his goods was because he was black. When he threatened to call the cops, the man ran from the house.

February 10

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: A man called to report the he had been arguing with his girlfriend for over three hours, and she refused to leave. He didn't give any additional information before hanging up.

FRAUD: Three different fraudulent charges were made against a woman's Chase Bank account. The bank called to inform her that someone had attempted to forge checks in her name.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: A man called to report his daughter's violent behavior. The man stated that she vomitted, she must have been "on something" and that he had never seen her behave that way before. She was transported to the hospital to NW Hospital for an involuntary.

February 11

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: A home, in the 3900 block of N.E. 157th Pl., was egged overnight. The residents suspected their neighbors. They said that this had been an ongoing problem for months, with eggs, batteries, and vegetables being thrown at the house, in the past.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Two males, 19 and 20, were arrested for spray painting the facade of the LFP Mall.

February 12

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: The carpet on three floors of an apartment building, in the 3800 block of N.E. 155th Pl., were damaged bleach. The manager suspects random vandalism or the cleaning company.
