LFP Police Blotter: People Found With Marijuana Worth $1,500 in Street Value

The following blotter items and information from Feb 20, 2012 through February 26, 2012 were selected from the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction. Please note missing dates means nothing to report.

February 20

ROBBERY:  A robbery was reported to Forest Park Car Wash and Food at 16827 Bothell Way NE.  The call came into the police station at 4:50 a.m.  No other information was given.

DECEASED:  A person passed away in the 2600 block of NE Perkins Way.  A chaplain was on the way according to police reports.  The person’s family was notified.

RECKLESS YOUTH:  A four door, silver Honda had an unusual hood ornament, a juvenile, perched on the car as it drove out of a cul-de-sac nearby the 2900 block of NE 193rd St.

February 21

STOLEN BATTERIES:  The manager at a store in the 17100 block of  Bothell Way NE watched someone steal five packs of AAA batteries. The manager asked the person to stop.  The person refused and walked away north bound.  A copy of the surveillance video will be sent to the police.

SUICIDE: Someone took his or her own life nearby the 17100 block of Bothell Way NE.  No additional information provided.

CAB DRIVER NOT PAID:  Someone in the 15800 block of 33rd Ave NE got a lift from a cab driver and chose not to pay.

DISTURBANCE:  A person in the 3500 block of NE 148th St reported that their roommate was drunk and loud.  The police visit this venue numerous times.  The police went out to this property one more time, the same day.

ISSUES AT SHANNON HEIGHTS CONDOS:  A person from the 3800 block of NE 155th Pl stated that there were seven signs requesting dog owners to pick up after their respective dogs relieved themselves.  Someone removed those signs.  The police advised a board member to have a meeting with the complex management.

February 22

DOG OWNERS WARNED:  The police spoke to residents in the 16800 block of Burke Gilman Trail.  The officers observed on many occasions dogs sitting unattended in a SUV with the hatch open.  The officers told the dog owners that with the weather getting nice and warmer soon, it would be better if they brought the dogs inside.

WARRANT:  People nearby 17400 block of Ballinger Way NE were found to be in possession of marijuana worth $1500+ street value.  

FRAUD:  A man from the 3000 block of NE 182nd St reported that someone had been using his checking account without his authorization.

February 24

ROAD RAGE:  Nearby the 17400 block of Brookside Blvd NE.  Police talked to both parties.  One person was held in custody.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE:  A person in the 2600 block of NE 195th Street reported that a female neighbor was crying, screaming and a great deal of door banging and slamming.  There was also a man yelling.  The police left with one person in custody.

February 25

DRUG PARAPHERNALIA:  A landlord in the 2900 block of NE 178th St found syringes, burnt spoons and bongs in the rooms during a walk through. The renters are moving out.  Police did not observe drugs during their visitation.

February 26

DOMESTIC:  A man in the 15300 block of Bothell Way NE reported that a female person who was possibly on drugs punched in him the nose and scratched him.

AGITATED FEMALE:  A store employee from the 17100 block of Bothell Way NE reported that a female customer was cussing out people.  The police found the female customer in the bakery department.  She was verbally aggressive.
