LFP Police Blotter: Boy's Backpack and Laptop Stolen from Car

The following blotter items and information from Oct 31 through Nov 5 were selected from the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

October 31

SUSPICIOUS CALLS: At the 3600 block of NE 155th ST a man was getting text messages and calls about kidnapping.

BREAK-IN: At the 17000 block of Bothell Way NE a woman said she thought someone broke into her house. She was missing her keys and some pants. Her kitchen door was left open.

FRAUDULENT PRESCRIPTION: At a Rite Aid at the 17000 block of Bothell Way NE someone filled and picked up a fraudulent prescription.  

November 1

DANGEROUS DRIVING: At the 1700 block of Bothell Way NE a truck loaded with wood was seen swerving from lane to lane.

CIVIL ISSUES: At the 1900 block of 37th AVE NE a male and female were heard yelling at each other. The female said her son was threatening her.  The 37 year old male left his mother’s house in a car with no insurance and may have loaded weapons in the vehicle.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: At the 1700 block of Ballinger Way NE a male subject was seen carrying an ax around city hall.  The man stated that he was on his way to his employer’s house to chop wood. He was acting strange looking on the ground and into vehicles.

November 2

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: At the 1800 block of 28th AVE NE a man witnessed three different vehicles coming and going off his property in the last ten minutes. Last time this happened there was an attempt to steal his boat.

November 3

POSSIBLE BURGLARY: At the 17000 block of Hamlin Road NE a female was found rummaging around in a man’s trailer. When he went out and flashed his flash light on her she took off.

VEHICULAR ACCIDENT: At NE 175th ST  and Ballinger Way NE a Saab made a left turn across the path of another vehicle and the two collided. There were no injuries.

November 4

WARNING FOR CELL PHONE USE: At 153rd ST and Bothell Way NE a woman was pulled over for talking on her cell phone while driving. She was issued a warning.

BURGLARY: At the 16000 block of 39th AVE NE a boy’s backpack with his laptop inside was stolen out of a vehicle. The vehicle was broken into overnight.

ALTERCATION: At the 14000 block of Bothell Way an employee was threatening to kill other employees. He had no weapons at the time.

November 5

ROBBERY: At the 19000 block of 37th AVE NE a woman had a tenant living above her who was arrested on robbery charges, trashing his apartment and possession of marijuana in the house.

CIVIL ISSUES: At the 17000 block of Ballinger Way NE a woman kicked her husband out of their house and changed the locks. The man has no way of getting back inside but the police cannot force the woman to let him back in. Police advised the man to go to court and file for an order to have her removed.
