LFP Police Blotter: Man Calls Beauty Supply Store for Waxing Items, Gets Too Personal

The following blotter items and information from Nov 7 through Nov 12 were selected from the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

November 7

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF:  Someone in an apartment building in the 3900 block of NE 157th Place threw objects at a home across the street and broke a window.  The house was also egged.

FENDER BENDER:  A bank employee at Chase Bank at 17191 Bothell Way NE reported that he saw an elderly woman back into his black Lincoln automobile.  The woman appeared confused; she didn’t know what to do.

November 8

FRAUD:  Victim received two unique notifications from on-line companies in regards to ordering items.  Victim stated that he did not place the orders.  One of the orders addressed to Dennis Bounds in Everett.  Both orders were cancelled.  Victim in process of finding out if other credit cards were opened under his name.

POSSIBLE DRUNK DRIVER:  An Albertson’s employee at 17171 Bothell Way NE reported seeing someone in a green Honda Pilot throwing a beer bottle out of the window while exiting the Albertson’s parking lot. 

November 9 

PITBULL DOG ON THE LOOSE:  A pitbull with no leash was running around nearby Sheridan Market at Bothell Way NE and NE 155th Street.  The pitbull thrashed in the bushes before running down the road.

November 10 

DRIVING WITH SUSPENDED LICENSE:  Someone was stopped nearby 17600 Brookside Blvd NE.  LFP Police retained person for speeding and found individual with a suspended license.  This person also had expired tabs and was told to leave the car where parked.  Person was arrested. 

STAGGERING MAN:  A dirty looking man with brown jacket, sunglasses and a beverage in hand was walking in the bus lane side of 522 closest to Lake Washington.  Police directed him to a legal sidewalk.

SUSPICIOUS PHONE CALL:  A man called Sally Beauty Supply at 17171 Bothell Way NE and stated he wanted waxing products and would arrive in 10 minutes to buy them.  He proceeded to describe his penis to the employee.  Store security called police.  Police suggested employees to call 911 if man arrived at the store.

November 12

ASSAULT: Her friend’s boyfriend near the 3600 block of NE 155th Street assaulted an 18-year old woman.  The woman said man physically hit her. Man is described as black male in his 20’s.  Woman’s purse was thrown in the swimming pool.  Police retrieved her purse and returned it to her.  She said many times she did not know the suspect and would not cooperate with prosecution of the suspect.
