LFP Police Blotter: Fraudulent Prescription Written at Lake Forest Park Medical Center.

The following blotter items and information from Sept 28 through Oct 1 were selected from the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

September 26

BREAK-IN: At the 3600 block of NE 155th ST a car was broken into.  A flashlight, recorder and a new cell charger were taken.

MAIL STOLEN: At the 3300 block of NE 178th ST a person had mail stolen. He said it occurred within the last several weeks.

September 27

BREAK-IN: At the 4000 block of NE 197th ST a house was broken into. Jewelry, TV and a laptop were taken. The intruder entered through the back bedroom window.

FRAUDULENT PRESCRIPTION: At the 17000 block of Bothell Way NE a fraudulent prescription was written at Lake Forest Park Medical Center. Patient signed under a false name for the prescription oxycodone, zoloft and flexaro.

September 28

CAR ACCIDENT: At the 17000 block of Bothell Way NE two cars collided and there were no injuries reported, minor but reportable damage.

TAGGING: At the 16000 block of 36th Ave NE a red truck was tagged with graffiti.

DOMESTIC ISSUES: At the 18000 block of 35th AVE NE a male has been locked out of his residence. His wife kicked him out and wants a divorce. She had recently found out that he was having an online affair.

September 29

JUVENILE IN DANGER: At the 17000 block of 37th AVE NE a juvenile was riding a skateboard in the street against on-coming traffic. Police contacted him. He said he was late for school. He smelled of marijuana and admitted to smoking last night. He was warned about the violation.

LOST WALLET: At the 17000 block of Bothell Way NE a citizen found a wallet.  He said that he observed the wallet being dropped out of a green car. The wallet was intact and all the cards were inside.

HEALTH CRISIS: At the 19000 Block of Ballenger Way NE a man was found unresponsive on the porch of an apartment unit. A person at the scene told police that three weeks ago the unconscious man was taken to the hospital for a drug overdose. Aid was sent to the scene.

SEPTEMBER 30

HEALTH CRISIS: At the 14000 block of Bothell Way NE a man was seen stumbling in the roadway, picking up old cigarettes. A few cars had to swerve to avoid hitting him. He was not intoxicated. He told police he was living off of social security and could not afford cigarettes.

DOWN POWER LINE: At NE 200th ST and 31st AVE NE a cottonwood fell into the roadway and hit a power line. Both directions of NE 200th were blocked as well as a cul-de-sac of 31st AVE NE.

ALTERCATION: At the 4000 block of NE 165th ST a tenant was in the process of moving out and claimed the landlord was harassing her. 

OCTOBER 1

CIVIL ISSUE: At the 1700 block of Ballinger Way NE a citizen came to the police station to inquire about what to do regarding a teenager who he had filed a sexual assault case with Shoreline PD about a week ago, and who had come to his house in LFP. Police advised him if the teenager came back to call and they might be able to issue a criminal trespassing notice to him.
