LFP Police Blotter: Woman Assaulted, Punched in the Face and Kicked While Having Purse Stolen

The following blotter items and information from Oct 3 through Oct 9 were selected from the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

October 3

NOISE COMPLAINT: At the 15000 block of 37th AVE NE a person called police complaining about the loud noise coming from a party.  There were at least a dozen people outside making a lot of noise.

ALTERCATION: At the 17000 block of Ballinger Way NE a man called complaining about a neighbor’s behavior. He has called before and has been in many altercations with this neighbor in the past. Police cautioned him about confronting neighbors.

THEFT: At the 19000 block of Ballinger Way NE a young man stole his parent’s wedding rings from their house.

LITTERING: At 28th AVE NE and NE 178th at least five campaign signs were uprooted and dumped on the corner.

HEALTH CRISIS: At the 19000 block of 33rd AVE NE someone fell off a roof. Aid was on scene.

HEALTH CRISIS: AT the 2600 block of NE 195th ST a man called police regarding his phone calls being blocked. He said he had information about the attacks in 2001. He said someone is blocking his calls from a pay phone. He seemed confused and wanted to come into the police station to use their phones.

October 5

ALTERCATION: At the 17000 block of Ballinger Way NE there was an apparent road rage incident.  A man kicked the door of another car. There was no damage.

CAR ACCIDENT: At Bothell Way NE and NE 145th ST a driver was attempting a left turn onto 38th AVE NE slid into a barrier. The vehicle was high centered and private tow was able to pull the vehicle off.

October 6

THEFT: At the 18000 block of Ballinger way NE gas was siphoned from a person’s Ford van.

ALTERCATION AND THEFT: At the 18000 block of Ballinger Way NE a person reported to police that while walking on Ballinger way she was punched in the face, knocked to the ground and kicked. Her purse was taken. The women reported that both subjects were black males. Both subjects fled on foot.

NOISE COMPLAINT: At the 17000 block of 32nd AVE NE a homeowner called and complained about a turkey named Tom that was making a lot of noise. The homeowner pinned him up.

October 7

VERBAL ABUSE: At the 16000 block of 34th AVE NE a driver was assaulted verbally by another drive and then followed home.

STRANGER FOLLOWING KIDS: At the 18000 block of 37th AVE NE a van followed two children home from school.

October 8

NOISE COMPLAINT: At the 3500 block of NE 182nd ST a neighbor called complaining of a loud barking dog.

TRUCK STUCK IN DITCH: At the 2000 block of 37th AVE NE a truck was stuck in a ditch. Another truck attempted to get the truck out but was unsuccessful. There was a third car involved that left the scene. Apparently, the third car had hit his breaks and caused the truck to slide off into the ditch.

October 9

SEXUAL ASSAULT: At the 3000 block of NE 182nd ST a woman called complaining that the owner of the house she was renting sexually assaulted her the night before. She is in the process of moving out right now.

ALTERCATION: At the 17000 block of Bothell way NE subjects were in a store drinking then went outside and began an argument. One man was threatened with pepper spray.
