Lake Forest Park Police Blotter, July 25-31

The following blotter items and information on arrests were selected from the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

JULY 25

DOMESTIC ISSUE: At the 2900 block of NE 178th ST,, a woman and male were heard yelling at each other so loudly neighbors called the police. When police arrived the woman said she was just having a bad morning and not yelling at her husband but to herself.

VEHICULAR ACCIDENT: At the 19000 block of Ballinger Way NE, a vehicular accident occurred. There was no injury but a ticket was issued to one driver for following the other too closely.

THEFT: At the 5200 block of NE 188th ST, some medication and money was taken from a locked bedroom. Subject believes her daughter and boyfriend picked the lock and took her belongings.

JULY 26

HEALTH CRISIS: At the 2600 block of NE 195th ST, people were evacuated from their apartment complex because someone had sprayed mace through out the complex.   

Three floors of the building were infected and multiple fire trucks and personnel on scene treating various residents.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT: At 3300 block of NE 202nd ST, a woman called police because of insistent harassment from a neighbor. Based on the information provided the officer explained that there appeared to be no crime and advised the woman and her husband to tell the male subject that his comments were not welcomed and they needed to stop. 

JULY 27

THEFT: At 1400 block of Bothell Way NE, a subject found some property with a note attached saying it was stolen. The property was returned to the owners.

VEHICULAR VANDALISM: At the 2600 block of NE 195th ST, a woman reported her car had been keyed.

THEFT: At the 3000 block of NE 203rd ST, a vehicle was broken into, house keys, 40 music CDs, a phone charger and some other small items where taken.  The owner of the vehicle knew of no possible suspects.

JULY 28

VEHICAL ACCIDENT: At the 15000 block of Bothell Way NE, a vehicle was driving with no headlights on and rear-ended the car in front of it at a stop light.

DUI ARREST: At the 16000 block of 30th AVE NE, a police officer arrested one person for driving under the influence. Some other juveniles ran from the scene. A party was in the area.

JULY 29th

MISSING PERSON: At the 19000 block of 37th AVE, a man called reporting that his daughter had snuck out last night and had not returned. She was found at her 10am appointment. She was intoxicated. The father decided that he would seek counseling for his daughter and handle the discipline himself. 

DOMESTIC ISSUE: At the 16000 block of 30th AVE NE, a father contacted police because he and daughter had been having multiple problems regarding her behavior. The officer discussed the possibility of a court order and gave him directions to the Shoreline court. 

DISTURBING THE PEACE: At the 17000 block of Brookside BLVD NE, a male called reporting that a dog had been barking non stop for many hours.

JULY 30th

SEXUAL ASSULT: At the 3300 block of NE 163rd ST, a woman contacted police and outlined some alleged sexual assault that involved her sister and her son.  Her son had a yeast infection and she suspected it not to be a natural infection.

VEHICAL ACCIDENT: At the 2600 block of NE 195th ST, a car was damaged while parked in the parking lot.

ALTERCATION: At NE 186th ST and 40th PL NE, a cab driver called police complaining his passenger didn’t know where she was going and was yelling at him. The officer told the cab driver to stop the car until the female stopped yelling.

JULY 31st

VEHICAL WARNED: At the 15000 block of Bothell Way NE, a car failed to yield to an emergency vehicle.

HEALTH CRISIS: At the 17000 block of 44th AVE NE, a man was found without any clothes on sitting cross-legged in the grass. Aid was called to check his physical condition. It was decided that he would have an involuntary commitment to ascertain his mental condition. He was transferred to Harborview Hospital.
