Lake Forest Park Police Blotter, August 22-28

The following blotter items and information on arrests were selected from the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

August 22

VEHICLE BREAK-IN: At the 1900 block of 37th Ave NE a silver truck was broken into over night and $150 in cash was stolen along with two credit cards.

CIVIL ISSUE: At the 3400 block of NE 158th St there were threats made toward a woman by an ex-tenant. No harm was done and the woman is deciding if she wants to pursue a court order.

BURGLARY: A man from Seattle had his house robbed and requested extra patrol by his mom’s house at the 1600 block of Beach Dr NE. His mother’s address was on the checks that were stolen from his house.

August 23

THEFT: At the 4000 block of NE 174th St a man’s washer and dryer was stolen from his driveway.

August 24

LOST ITEMS: At the 17000 block of 28th Ave NE, A man’s mail was found in the road way. The contents were all over the street, including banking documents and blank checks. Police attempted to contact the male subject.

DRIVING VIOLATION: At the 15000 block of Bothell Way a driver failed to yield to an emergency vehicle. The driver was cited and released at the scene. 

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: At the 14000 block of Bothell Way NE a car rear-ended another car.

August 25

VEHICULAR ACCIDENT: At the 17000 block of Bothell Way NE a woman backed into a tree. She was acting disoriented. Aid came to the scene.

HEALTH CRISIS: At the intersection of 40th PL NE and NE  195th St a male driver appeared to be passing out in his car.  He then continued driving erratically until stopped by an officer.

CIVIL ISSUE: At the 14000 block of Bothell Way NE a woman threatened her boyfriend with a knife. The boyfriend does not want to press charges. He had just broken up with her.

August 26

BICYCLIST WARNING: At the intersection of 39th AVE NE and Bothell Way NE a bicyclist was warned for not wearing a helmet.

SPEEDING TICKET: At the 4000 block of NE 178th St. a car was pulled over for speeding and the driver did not have any insurance.

VEHICLE ACCIDENT: At the 16000 block of Bothell Way NE a female drove into a resident’s retaining wall and left the scene.  The area was checked but police were unable to located vehicle.

August 27

NOISE COMPLAINT: At the 3300 block of NE 178th St. a woman called complaining of a loud band. Police arrived and explained to her that the people hosting the party had a permit for the party and the live band.

CHILD NEGLECT: At the 17000 block of Bothell Way NE a citizen called police to let them know a young child was left alone in a car.

STOLLEN CAR: At the 3700 block of NE 150th St a vehicle was taken over night. The vehicle is yet to be found.

August 28

TRESPASSING: At the 17000 block of Beach DR NE, juveniles were at the civic club making a lot of noise near the dock. The club is closed. Police arrived and warned the kids of trespassing.
