Lake Forest Park Police Blotter: August 15-21

The following blotter items and information on arrests were selected from the Lake Forest Park Police Department. The reports do not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 15

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: A woman in the 17000 block of Brookside Blvd. N.E. reportedly had a stick and was lighting something on fire.

DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: A woman pulled a large butcher knife on another woman in the 14800 block of Bothell Way N.E. The woman took the knife away from the woman who pulled it on her and hid it behind a bed.

PROPERTY LINE DISPUTE: A woman reported that workers cutting blackberry bushes on her neighbor's property 17000 block of 25th Ave. N.E. were trespassing and dumping their debris on her property. Officer advised she erect a sturdy fence to secure her privacy and minimize property line disputes.

Aug. 17

PROWLER: A woman in the 19300 block of 53rd Ave. N.E. reported a man outside her home and saw his hand on her deck floor possibly peeking through the window under the drawn shade. Police did not find the man after checking the area. 

Aug. 18

DUI: A black Audi was observed traveling southbound near the 14500 block of Bothell Way N.E. at a high rate of speed. The driver admitted to drinking three glasses of wine, failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. The driver later blew a .08/.09 on a breath test and was cited and released.

Aug. 19

GRAFITTI: Pen ink grafitti was discovered on a street sign in the 18400 block of 47th Ave. N.E. The tag read "G7L" similar to tagging all over Lake Forest Park Towne Centre. 

Aug. 20

THEFT: Three men stole three to four bottles of tide laundry detergent from Albertson's, 17171 Bothell Way N.E., and fled in a black jeep Cherokee.

Aug. 21

FIRECRACKERS: Someone reported hearing five shots and a vehicle drive by--each shot was accompanied by a bright flash--iin the 19800 block of 30th Ave. N.E. An officer found debris from firecrackers in the roadway.

NOISE DISTURBANCE: Someone from the kidney center called police to complain about loud music coming from Deja Vu, 14500 block of Bothell Way. N.E.
