Some nice stuff got stolen in LFP

The following blotter items are from Lake Forest Park Police reports from April 25 to May 1, 2011.

 April 25

 ANIMAL: Edgar, a German shephard was loose in the 17100 block of Hamlin Road. The owner told police he had been having problems with his home alarm and with locking his front door. Edgar is able to open the door when it is unlocked.

 THEFT: A woman reported that her vehicle, parked in the 15000 block of 37th Ave. N.E., was broken into and Coach sunglasses, a Garmin GPS unit, a child’s backpack were taken.

 AUTO THEFT: A dark blue Toyota Scion, which may have been unlocked with a spare key underneath the floor mat, was stolen from the 16000 block of 35th Ave. N.E.

 April 26

 VEHICLE PROWL: Two vehicles in the 2800 block of N.E. 183rd St. were broken into and rummaged through. The only thing taken was a cheap nylon bag with a few small hand tools.

 THEFT: A salesman at 17171 Bothell Way N.E. sold 10 cell phones to a man who gave him $880 in counterfeit money.

 April 27

 TRESPASS: A manager of an apartment complex in the 2600 block of N.E. 195th St. found a male and female sleeping in the laundry room. Police served them trespass warning letters and were told to leave the property.

 THREATS: A homeowner whose house in the 18700 block of 23rd Ave. N.E. is up for sale told police he has been receiving threatening e-mails from a man and woman who wanted to see his home.

 April 29

 DISTURBANCE: Someone complained about noise coming from an apartment at the , 14806 Bothell Way N.E., such as banging and yelling for two hours. Police heard loud talking and laughing heard from outside the apartment in the hallway. After police knocked on the door the tenant was asked to keep the noise down. He apologized and quieted his guests.

 BURGLARY: Someone threw a rock through the back window of bedroom in the 18000 block of Forest Park Drive N.E. A laptop, 32-inch flat screen and Xbox 360 were taken.

 April 30

 DISTURBANCE: Two male individuals at the Lake Forest Park Library, 17171 Bothell Way N.E. threatened each other with physical violence while by the computers.

 May 1

 VEHICLE PROWL: Someone stole a $500 pair of prescription sunglasses, a small Leatherman-like tool in a pouch from vehicle parked in the 3000 block of N.E. 166th St. about 6 p.m.

 DISTURBANCE: A male person across the street from the reporting person in the 2500 block of N.E. 195th St. was throwing around garbage cans, hitting things and yelling. Police contacted the individual and he said he was mad and lashed out by punching things up and down the street. He was warned to keep it at home or go to the old Kellogg Middle School and vent there.
