UPDATE: Injury Accident in Shoreline Blocking Eastbound Lanes of 145th Street Cleared

An accident involving a semi truck and two vehicles has resulted in life threatening injuries to an elderly man

UPDATE:

The accident scene at 145th Street and 30th Ave. N.E. has been cleared.

The collision is under investigation by the State Patrol and it will be some time before a determination is made concerning a cause.

An accident involving a semi truck and two vehicles has resulted in a serious injury and is blocking 145th St. near 30th Ave. N.E. in Shoreline Wednesday morning.

The double trailer semi truck was headed eastbound on 145th St. and hit the driver's side of a Honda Civic driven by an elderly man, said Julie Judson, spokeswoman for the State Patrol.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The eastbound lanes are blocked and the State Patrol is on the scene investigating.
