THIS CAMPAIGN:
What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
I want the board and citizens to have the direction of the Board perform with higher standards: business principles of scope, process, VOC (attentive and interactive with the ‘Voce of the Citizens’), fact-based decision making, collaborative with other board members, and with the utmost respect for money spending and its impact on value to the community.
What will be your top three priorities if you get elected and why?
1. Understand the Department’s and board’s visions and needs along with impediments to reaching these goals.
2. Streamline the decision making process including, but not limited to, Myers-Briggs SWOT standards (problem solving model)
3. Contribute higher leadership standards and accountability for setting and measuring results to the Department.
What sets you apart from the other candidates and/or previous office holders?
I bring a broad scope of leadership, management and risk reduction on local and worldwide scales based on current and time-proven business principles. These tools enable my skills to perform with a group to ultimately make things happen, not merely administrate policy. At ‘arm’s’ length from the Department and Admin, I offer a refreshing perspective on setting priorities which lead to win-win results.
How much money do you expect your campaign to spend on this election?
Less than $500.
What groups or individuals are your major endorsers?
Broad base of citizens and local residents at all income levels and ages.
