Two Honda motorcycles were stolen from the 17000 block of Brookside Blvd. NE

Dodging bullets: Police came across two open garages the same night, with lights on and valuables in view. Luckily, neither resident reported anything was taken. One person had even left the keys in the car.
March 18
No burglary, just a visit: Police responded to a burglary in progress, finding a man climbing into a window. At first the man said he lived at the home, then admitted he didn’t but state he was going to surprise his brother. The brother arrivedhome and confirmed that the man was allowed to be there, and said he’d show him where to find a key.

March 20
Assault at 7-11: Police learned of an assault at 7-11 after a 43-year-old man came up to Taco Bell’s drive through to get napkins for his face, which was bloody. LFP Police advised shoreline police, and aid was called to assist the man.
March 22
A local businessman reported someone charged a laptop from Best Buy for delivery to Yakima on his debit card. The charge was reversed and the order canceled.
March 23
Catalytic converter stolen: A catalytic converter was stolen from a Toyota Corolla on 47th Ave NE
March 24
Smashed windshield: Someone smashed a windshield, cracking it in two places by unknown means, on the 5100 block of 193rd St NE.
March 25
Common Craigslist scam: A Lake Forest Park resident reported to police that they were trying to sell something on Craigslist. Someone sent them a check for twice the asking price, and asked them to return the extra money. Police advised the reporting party that this was a scam.
March 26
Bad girlfriend: A 29-year old man reported to police that he started dating a woman recently, but she stole several small items from his apartment. When he asked her about it, she denied it and threatened to accuse him of strangling and assaulting her if he reported it. He had called just to note his concern that she might make false accusations. Later, his parents convinced him to come to the police department to file a report about the theft.
