Four Suspects Arrested in Shoreline Bank Robbery

The robbery at the Chase Bank prompted a lockdown Tuesday at Meridian Park Elementary.

Shoreline Police responded to a bank robbery at the Chase Bank at North 182nd Street and Midvale Avenue North just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, which prompted a brief lockdown of Meridian Park Elementary School.

A citizen saw two suspects leave in a getaway car and then get into a second car with two more suspects, Shoreline Police said in a post on their Facebook page. The citizen then reported that car and its license plate to police.

A short time later, a Seattle Police officer spotted the car southbound on Interstate 5 near the James Street exit. Seattle officers and detectives then converged on the vehicle and made a traffic stop at 6th Avenue and James Street. Four adult male suspects were taken into custody.
