Update: Firefighters Battle Suspicious Residential Group Home Fire Saturday in Shoreline

Shoreline firefighters are reporting on Facebook that they worked with multiple departments Saturday night to control a fire that broke out at a residential group home.

All residents were evacuated safely from the home at the intersection of North 165th Street and Fremont Avenue N. No major injuries were reported, Shoreline Fire said in a Facebook post.

KIRO 7 News is reporting that three special needs kids live in the home and that they require 24-7 care. They're also saying firefighters consider it a "suspicious" fire.

There is significant damage to the home and fire investigators are at work to determine the cause, authorities said.

Shoreline, Snohomish 1, Seattle and Northshore fire departments responded to the fire.
