Endangered Baby Last Seen in Shoreline, Found in Oregon

Mother was arrested for trying to stop deputies from taking the baby

An endangered 7-week-old baby girl who was last seen in Shoreline, was found by police in Aloha, Oregon Monday, after an anonymous tip to authorities, KING-TV is reporting.

Baby Lillian is now with Child Protective Services in Oregon. Her mother, Trina P. Curry, 33, was arrested for trying to stop deputies from taking the baby, KING reported.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office received the call saying the mother and baby were staying with relatives.

King County Sheriff's detectives said Curry gave birth to the baby at Highline Hospital on July 17. Police learned that Curry used a fake name at the hospital and when officials learned her real name they discovered that she had her seven other children removed by Child Protective Services (CPS) due to abuse/neglect and mental health issues.

CPS received a “pick-up” order for the baby but police and CPS officials were not able to find her.

Detectives at first believed Curry and the baby may be with the baby’s father, Quandra R. Powell, 39. Powell has two felony warrants, one for Escape from Community Custody and the other for a drug charge.
